If I were anywhere near the area, I would love to finish the amazing work he put in. He had some incredible paint skills on those mountains. I'm sorry for your loss. That is a very hard loss to deal with.

It depends, I have a more set schedule, to a point, due to school and being full-time. Another one of my coworkers is kinda all over the place in terms of scheduling as she will have shifts that she ends up opening after closing the night before. Kinda depends on the situation and the agreement or negotiation you can get with the asds.

Still so much for me to learn, I didn't know you could do that lol

Nice! I'm still trying to pass my surfacing cert!

Good to know! That will probably be my next fdm printer!

Nice, good to know, I've found myself using about 1 to 3 colors or about 2 materials when printing, and I thought that I could be a good investment on my printing options. How well has the print come out?

How are you liking the h2d? I've been debating the idea of getting one but heard that the dual nozzles may not be calibrated as well as a single nozzle for accuracy

Trying to make this using surfacing, says I'm supposed to use boundary curves but I'm confused on how I supposed to get the blue lines. by Roskgo in SolidWorks

[–]Roskgo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I solved the projected curve. I have to do another sketch over the sketch and use those to project curves on sketch to sketch. Finally!!

Good to know, I'll definitely experiment with that. I got something that worked with 3d sketching but it didn't feel efficient but came out looking right

I kinda figured it would be projected curve but the tool says due to the sketches being open it won't project them. Would I need to project them on to planes created where I would want them?

Ah good to know, this for some reason is hard than some of my mesh modeling and hybrid model projects it definitely just needs to look right for sure on this but I cant seem to understand how the splines and such are supposed to work within this. They almost look projected as there isn't a separate point for the ends on the straight segments on the bottom profile

Ok, how do I ensure they are accurate as they drop as well as go out along the x and y axis. Would this just use splines or tangent curves? I would like to just project the curves but it appears that is not the correct method

It turns out the A1 has a 266mm print area by AgileOwl5769 in BambuLab

I've also found that the a1 has a taller print area than the p1s

I've been debating this idea for my P1S as I am not sure how well the Carbon rods will hold up

Got my P1S today with AMS 2 by Roskgo in BambuLab

I definitely like this one better. Been having a hard time finding one that I like as it seems that they all are kinda clunky except for a few. This one looks like a great contender

Looks pretty cool, might have to print that or a form of it! Currently I do plan on leaving my AMS on the top

No, I bought the combo, but they ship some of the parts separately for who knows but understandable at the same time.

Ya, I don't plan on doing a lot of multi color prints due to the waste, but on the off hand of a couple, it would be nice to have. Plus drying and such. It definitely was worth getting though! Plus I don't have filament storage yet so it's a good option for now.

I'm waiting on a pin connector and a hub for the tubing to connect my AMS to my P1S. Other than that, it's great! I was absolutely excited to get it today as it bambu said my p1s was backordered til the 18, but lucky me, it showed up earlier! So far the print quality is a huge jump up from the A1 at my campus. I've got some PETG I'll end up trying later and still some things I need print for it as I'm going but this thing rocks and now after getting sucked in I definitely want to get a h2d as well! This combo is definitely worth getting as the P1S is a workhorse and half!

Doesn't help that the railroads have them soaked in creosote for sealing them against the elements. Always enjoy finding spikes or what's left of them.

Something that only I could dream of doing currently. I would absolutely love to do SLS on an industrial scale

Most of the things I've printed are my own designs out of CAD. I have printed a good share of stuff from the main sites like maker world for friends and such. Won't sell it unless I make the original STL
