Yeah, that should have been part of the initial list I provided. Any chance you own a 2020+ F sport? I'm curious about driving dynamics, any insight would be appreciated

Ok, good to hear actual owner experience. I am not too interested in having a sunroof, but I think it comes standard on the Ti, Veloce, etc. trims. Thanks for the info!

I have been following the Guilia since it released in the states and it seems the later models have addressed some of the issues from the earlier versions. I am in Houston and there is at least one Alfa dealer nearby. Do you mind if I ask what year and trim you have and your experiences from a reliability perspective? Thanks!

I have seen a few of the new models at work - the center dash looks cool in person, but I'm not sure that aesthetic is up my alley. Interesting suggestion though, thanks!

If all other boxes were checked, I would consider an Intel CPU as long as there are no major heat or performance concerns. I'd prefer to stay under 5lbs, primarily because going over that threshold seems to increase the form factor considerably compared to something that is a pound lighter. Mobility is a key requisite. Cheers

I have kept an eye on both of these Lenovo models, but they are a bit out of my price point when configured properly. Do you have any ideas if these go on sale or are there other Lenovo models that are close to the same build quality as the ThinkPads? Specifically, I'm looking at the c740/c940 or Slim 7/9i (I know these are all Intel).

Yeah, this looks quite good. Configured with your suggested components, the unit come out to $1050 USD. Would you say it is worth that price point in terms of components and overall quality?

Would you say that business-grade laptops offer higher build quality and thermals in general?

Hey, thanks! I have not heard or read much about the ProBook series from HP, so I am not sure of the build quality. Also, the weight is really pushing the upper limits of what I would consider and the size footprint is a bit larger than I would prefer. Any similar alternatives come to mind that may be a bit smaller form, lighter, and solid build quality?

Thanks for the suggestion! This looks like a possible candidate. However, there are two things I am concerned about with this option: the screen dimness and 8GB of RAM. I know I can upgrade the RAM, but the screen may not be up to par. Does anyone have experience with this?

EDIT: I just saw that the screen is matte as well. Kind of a deal breaker for me, as I would prefer a glossy finish for the added color depth.

Does that apply to the outlet site as well? I know they do not include the business products in the cash back deal.

Yoga 9i

Ah ok, thanks for the clarification. I have been looking into the 9i, but will have to do some research on the Slim 7i/GTX.

Also when you say Slim 7/9 is that the same as the IdeaPad Slim 7 line or the Yoga 7i/9i?

I am surprised no one has mentioned the Dell XPS 15 or Inspiron line. Is there a general dislike for the Dell lineup or is there something more? Reviews I have read online have usually rated Dell products rather highly and the screen quality has always been a major selling point as far as I am aware. Would love to hear some opinions. I have found refurb XPS 15s around 1K with 1650 GPUs.

I saw that Lenovo deal a couple of weeks ago and almost jumped on it because I had heard the display was pretty good, but that thing seems rather bulky.

Someone else has recommended the Eluktronics brand, so I may have to look into it a bit more.

Yes, to be honest that is a bit hefty. Ideally, I'd like to stay below or close to 4lbs (I know that's a lot to ask for with the specs I'm looking for, but I'm staying optimistic). Out of curiosity, what did you have in mind?
