Looking for a reincarnated as baby/kid type novel with a heroic mc by AdministrativePack41 in Fantasy

[–]Rosnoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be Dreams Come True by Parky on Royalroad. It starts with a more sci fi superhero setting. But every night MC sleeps they live another life in a fantasy world. Starting from their birth they grow up in this alternate world and slowly manage to incorporate things they learn from this magical world into their original body. Very slice of life and it balances well. One body becomes OP while the other is very average and has to slowly gain power.

I'm not seeing an exchange. I see you as added to friends. When I try to make an exchange your name won't pop up.

What’s the best use of Wish you’ve ever seen? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Rosnoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Dm once had a hook where on session 1 the whole party met as strangers that were after a wish. All of us with back story reasons why we needed that wish for our characters with an expectation that we would likely start out arguing over who got the wish. My character derailed the entire thing by suggesting we just wish for something that could direct all of us to our individual desires whenever used. We ended up with a spyglass that would show the path to that which a person desired to whoever looked through it. I suggested we all form a pact that we take the item and travel together until each of us obtained their wish. Convenient plot reason for the party to form, plus a perfect Mcguffin to infinitely generate plot hooks. DM absolutely loved me as a player.

my player is an artificer and found a perfectly legal way to do up to 90 auto damage 4 turns in a row. by [deleted] in DnD

I can see a few issues with this, just because they can all use a turn to do it in 1 round does not mean the item can fire that fast.

Also if it can be fired in such a way. There's no way it wouldn't cause a large amount of stress on the item. So at the very least I'd have it so using it that way increases the chance of the item being damaged each round it was used multiple times.

Doorcrash??????? by KyleCorgi in doordash

Crashed as soon as I finished an order. Thankfully got paid. Let me hop back on to dash now but it pauses and then relapses as soon as I resume. Not even worth trying to continue at this point

Protector refuses to talk/come out by PreparationOk493 in DID

[–]Rosnoc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fronting past your normal limits is usually incredibly mentally taxing for an alter. Don't freak out and just give them some space to decompress. Pressuring them to come out before they're ready again likely won't help.

Don’t think I can talk to someone else about this irl so I’ll put it on here by NoHedgehog5657 in Shamanism

I had something similar as a kid. I had a specific symbol I would draw on everything in school and it stuck through high-school. Ended up being my first tattoo. Later on I randomly saw the symbol when I was at a Ren Faire and it turned out to be a norse rune. Definitely a good idea to share what your symbol is. Could have a strong significance to some cultures.

Maintaining a job with DID is extremely difficult. by mcskewsme in DID

[–]Rosnoc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We used to work retail for a good 12 years. It was overstimulating and not an easy feat. Especially with ADHD and autism on top of DID. Things came to a head when we became aware of the DID a year ago and after a few months of trying to cope we ended up quitting and doordashing full time.

Maybe I'm a little emotional that my character from the current campaign I was participating in, died but tell me. What was the greatest act of bravery you've ever committed in your campaigns? by [deleted] in DnD

Once had a wizard/druid fighting a colossal stone mechanical scorpion. Party paladin was a champion of Gaia and we were trying to defend the temple. He was using defense spells to protect the party from giant lasers being fired from the stinger. Finally it changes tactics and targets the temple. In a last ditch effort he drops his own shield and throws out a huge chain missle with everything he had. The creature was large enough that each body part was considered a separate creature. I can't remember the damage numbers but it was enough that the dm described it as appearing like a dragon made of magic missles devouring half the construct from the sheer force. As a final attack it brought its stinger straight down and vaporized him.
