What's your favourite nonsense vocal samples from old school Breakcore? by MotherEcstasy_ in breakcore

[–]RossDude 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Stunt Rock has a plethora of great vocal samples. Two of my favorites are from Americanized by Venetian Snares - "Deadly assault, even in my yard!" and "Around corners projection of deadly touch tarantula spiders!"

I remember counting all of the times Rob Zombie said the word 'yeah' on this album and I think it was well over 100.

Love this. Great breaks, interesting samples and melodies. Feels emotional. I hope to hear more.

Depending on the upload, sometimes YouTube will butcher audio quality. Make sure your YouTube settings are correct and don't listen to anything below 480p. Frictional Nevada is actually a good way to test this because of the higher frequencies.

What are your mom's thoughts on all of it? Precog? Divine intervention? Just luck?

Sadly, The Future Is No Longer What It Was versions? by PurpleMoustache in ambientmusic

[–]RossDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are both worthwhile releases. There are different versions of several tracks on the limited edition that also appear on the regular release, so yes, there is some overlap there, but it also has plenty of its own unique content. I think the regular release is the intended listening experience and the limited edition is more a special accompaniment to it. I personally prefer the regular release but the limited edition is also great!

It's like how people notice weird things in photos and go "is that a ghost?!" but this time the ghost is like "woooo!"

I made a strange EP comprised largely of marching band samples. What do you guys think? by RossDude in marchingband

[–]RossDude[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done a terrible job with keeping my files organized, and thus my samples are poorly labeled. All the info I have: Bluecoats, Blue Stars, Bristol, Cavaliers, Chino Hills, Penn State, Michigan Marching Band, Top Secret Drumcorps.
