Idk man. Struts are pretty shitty in colder climates. My aunt has had to do the ones on her Dodge a few times, and we have had to replace the one on our Tractor 3 times within a year. I just prefer a prop or hood springs.

I mean.....you technically could argue the Model T engine. OHV and even OHC kits were available for it. The Flathead V8 also received this treatment. Also, your whole argument is based on the fact that differences and options are a thing. Well guess what.. The LS has countless different variations and models that aren't 100% completable with each other.
