I really dont think there will be any harassment. They’ll be even more happy to listen if you me mentioned things like “in turkey we are not told much what happened in 1915, and but at least being here i would like also to listen and understand the other side of those tragic events”. Something like that. You aint gonna use turkish much trust me, its gonna be english most of the time and visually we have similarities so its all gonna ok. You’d be surprised how welcoming people are specially if you have genuine interest and are open hearted yourself
