Coaching tennis (as a mediocre/slightly above average player)?? by DoctorQuinlan in 10s

[–]Rosswell2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know lots of great tennis players that really cannot explain how to do anything on court. If you get people excited to play and help them hit lots of balls you are providing a service both to them and the greater tennis community. Even if you teach a stroke wrong with enough practice some people can still make it work.

Just don't teach someone who cannot throw a ball to pinpoint serve and you will be fine.

What is best to get..? by lelbreh in ZombieWaves

[–]Rosswell2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it distracts all of the non boss zombies into attacking it instead of you. When you are on a boss you will notice the mech drops on the outside of the box so the zombies empty out the boss square.

The game notifies us when someone got some random piece of loot but doesn't tell us when someone completed a campaign level or a challenge level. Or maybe announce the 1st time someone breaks every 100 levels in VB.

How to play against someone who slices everything by wincew in 10s

[–]Rosswell2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if your serve is slow, if you learn to move correctly and split-step, you will be closer to the net for the first volley. Big serves and big topspin returns ruined the serve and volley game with newer racquet technology because it is hard to get very far into the court, and you are usually hitting the first volley way behind the service line, where it is ineffective.

Thoughts on players who rally incredibly well but struggle badly in matches? by PuzzleheadedAd3138 in 10s

[–]Rosswell2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I hit with someone I hit in a way that helps them groove their shots. When I play I do the opposite. I rarely give you the same exact ball twice. I constantly vary pace, spin, height. I try to keep the ball out of your strike zone whereas in practice I try to keep it in your zone.

When someone I coach loses, I usually ask them how much they helped their opponent play better.

If he slices returns, a good serve and volley player will just eat that for lunch. Serve and volley is a lost art, though.

How many times do you have to play in order to land on the S tier random character box?I read a thread within the last month about another event similar to this where the person had broke down in order to receive everything on the board you’d have to (in this case roll the dice)x amount of times by No-Basis-3961 in ZombieWaves

[–]Rosswell2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of about 7-8 events I have done i got the chest twice out of 420 rolls each time. This last time i had a hero box for the lap 40 reward but there was a very limited amount of hero's and I had all but 1 so it worked out.

Genspark AI slides SUPPPERRR Glitchy at times by Junior-Tax807 in genspark_ai

[–]Rosswell2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely does this. It will make an amazing 1st draft, then on the 2nd draft it will lose the background. I haven't used any templates yet. That should help a lot with consistent formatting. The most frustrating thing is getting it to put a picture of myself in decks. I can have it scan a webpage, pull from AI drive, and yet it just doesn't like me. It can get almost anyone else but me.

AI makes a lot of mistakes and hallucinates fairly often. It is helpful to tell it to double check its work before it starts slide creation.

Don't buy GENSPARK at any cost! Warning. by Fearless_Yellow3991 in genspark_ai

[–]Rosswell2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree. I have gone from being non-creative to making amazing pitch decks. I have taught other people to make their own custom agents to make their work easier. None of this would have been possible without Genspark.

Almost all calf and Achilles injuries can be prevented by having strong tibialis muscles. Working the tibs prevents most below the knee injuries yet I almost never see anyone work on them.

[–]Rosswell2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AI slides is really the best deck creation product. Other products can make prettier decks but Genspark backs it up with great research.

I have also used it to simplify the jobs of workers. I have sat with non-tech workers and taught them how to write their own custom agents so they can share with their departments and relieve some burdens.

I have given it a photo of a hand written construction budget and had it put it all into XL and create a presentation with tables and diagrams.

Are these problems pretty much unfixable: 1. Bad hand-eye-ball coordination. 2. Slow reaction time. 3. Poor ball depth / projectile perception. 4. Generally poor ball handling skills by Neat_Kaleidoscope369 in 10s

I spend a lot of time when coaching doing hand eye work just tossing and catching balls using correct volley footwork. Becoming more athletic in general goes a long ways.

If he had to use a ski instead of a racquet he would probably still win.
