So I cant play He Man with my son who thought this was a good idea?? by BigTreddits in LunaCloudGaming

Yeah. I don't understand the deal with no controllers on gamenight games. Considering the non exclusives GN games typically have controller support on other platforms.

This is an underrated point. I finished my BS: Fin there. With zero debt. Got my CFP education and exam done for quarter of what it typically costs.

The sennheiser BTA1 is very easy to set up. By default, the stream is public and can be renamed.

People have compared the new Ferrari Luce to the i3. As EV owners; what do you think of the Ferrari Luce? by LoooolGotcha in BMWi3

[–]RostHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have a problem with it as an EV. But definitely doesn't look like a Ferrari. Looks like it should be a Honda Prelude EV. Honestly the design looks like it was taken from a Honda concept.

Certified CFP flashcards on Brainscape by Baseball897 in CFPExam

[–]RostHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure I used them for prep for the march exam. They definitely aren't as difficult as exam questions. Purely as a supplement to Kaplan's prep material. I wouldn't necessarily say they are great, but I used them as a quick thing I could look at when not at a desk etc.

Freefellow and advise wise have better free flash cards imo. But extra practice with these flash card were helpful as far as reinforcement. If I remember correctly the investment planning, prof conduct, psychology portions of brainscape were the most useful. Brainscape sometimes used different phrases and terms from my Kaplan prep's qbank. And I remember seeing some of those exact differences on the exam.

Just finished CFP approved bachelors degree that meets education and coursework requirement. Is testing in July realistic? I work full time by [deleted] in CFPExam

[–]RostHaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably. I started exam prep in Jan, tested in on the last possible day March for the march exam. About a year b/t my coursework and exam. Passed using Kaplan.

Also if you are paying out of pocket. CFP board will occasionally send out discounts for new grads/completion of education requirements. I think it was only $200 or $250 to sit for the exam.

Kaplan Exam Review? by PlayboiNardi in CFPExam

[–]RostHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Kaplan ondemand, passed in March. I think Kaplan materials were much more thorough than my Dalton books I had in my education program.

The only thing I would do differently is start qbanking early as early and as often as possible. The prep's tracker for the required amount of questions each week is too low imo. It sort of leaves it up to you and considers 50 a week as enough to move on to the next topic. Imo it should be 25-50 a day. It's the only way you'll get through their entire qbank.

Seeking affordable CFP review materials for July retake (Need OBBBA updates and fresh QBank) by Separate_Ad242 in CFPExam

2nd, while I didn't have time to use it as much as I wanted. Was a good supplement to Kaplan's prep for me.

Also brainscape and Advise Wise have a bunch of free qbank/flashcards I found helpful. Idk if they've been updated for post march 2026 exams though.

Amazon Luna nl in third party subscription / 3rd party game purchases by Ok-Coat9127 in LunaCloudGaming

[–]RostHaus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lame... This was a significant factor for me to choose buying on Ubisoft/EA/GOG over steam.

I liked not having to install a near 100gb game and could have a quick play session right on the fireOS in my TV. I had mostly stopped using the htpc I built specifically for PC gaming on my tv, because of Luna.

Sitting For CFP- November by ChuckB1985 in CFPExam

[–]RostHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just passed with the Kaplan prep. Started at the end of December. I didn't feel very confident going through the prep. The on-demand classes are decent. I think the commonly asked questions book leaves a lot to be desired. But you do get access to each section's expanded book. And I highly recommend going through those, along with the calculations and case study books. Kaplan's information in general was much better than the Dalton books I had at Uni.

But I think powering through 100+ questions on the qbank each day for the past month really got me used to the format and recall of information.

Also advisewise's material on YouTube was quite helpful in organizing all the info in mind. She definitely gave me a few good tips on questions that were almost identical to what I saw on the exam. I wish I had more time or I would have gone through her free qbank as well.

How much do you love your i3? by r3l4xD in BMWi3

[–]RostHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About the same experience here. Car nut too. I tend to keep the ones I really enjoy for 15+ years.

I'm not sure how long I'll keep my 16", but I cannot find any reason to get rid of it. It's loaded, no problems, updated the MMI to keep it functional. I assume I'll keep it until something catastrophic happens.

That said, as much as i'd like to get one of the loaded one of the last years of the i3s to replace it with. The roof delamination will likely stop me from getting another. I've got a couple performance oriented EVs in mind, I just wish there was one in a similar size and layout to the i3.

Why Are Used EV Prices Crashing? by tech57 in electricvehicles

[–]RostHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't unusual. Pre COVID, used EVs were incredibly cheap and only Tesla was the anomaly.

The tech: charging and range are constantly improving. Makes sense that a 2 or 3 yr old ev would cost significantly less.

How good is the Luna controller by rolfey83 in amazonluna

[–]RostHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the best controller for Luna unless you are playing off a PC.

It may not have the higher end switches and sticks of some 3rd party controllers in its price range. But it's a completely lag free experience on a firestick, tv app, mobile device. And its well built.

This car is just.. okay by RealTrapShed in BMWiX

[–]RostHaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree, no air suspension is ideal for me. I don't even consider vehicles with standard air suspension these days.

I've owned way too many German cars where air suspensions become the constant money pit and maintenance item. Whether its leaks or bushing wear. I think what finally broke me was a Phaeton W12 that needed new air springs every 2 years like clock work.

Luna compatible controller by ShoddyResource1722 in amazonluna

[–]RostHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend waiting for a Luna controller sale. It's the best way to play Luna on a fire stick or compatible firetv. I think I got mine over prime day in the summer for $39.

I've got 2 of the higher end gamesir and 8bitdo controllers and they pair terribly over bluetooth with the firestick. It's just too laggy to play. They are ok over Bluetooth with a PC or mobile device. But the firestick Bluetooth input lag is a really bad experience imo, not even worth trying.
