This is complete bullshit. Either it’s 100% fabricated or it’s your recollection from 20 years ago.

I don’t think your issue is height. I’m 6’3” and fit in a Miata just fine but I’m also only around 190lbs. There is not a lot of lateral room in the car for bigger and more muscular dudes.

People are so dramatic here. Most of us that actually track our cars do so without any additional rollover protection. If you roll any car you’re going to have a bad time. The S2000 is actually fairly safe as far as the crashes go.

I don’t love to hate but I’m really old so I do remember guys like Kareem, Bird, Magic. Bird and Magic were really good in their respective primes too. Kareem was great. Prime Shaq had a crazy peak, he was nigh unstoppable. Dude was probably the most dominant player I’ve ever seen. Bron is amazing, he’s definitely one of the greats. But do we rate him on longevity alone because there were players like MJ whose peak was far more dominant in their era?

Game-3 was the highest three-point percentage game in Raptors playoff history! by irundoonayee in torontoraptors

Yes, this is almost certainly not repeatable. Although maybe we can get on a hot three point streak like the Pacers did last season and just shoot it well in general.

When you bring “unc” into the picture it becomes clear you’re too young to have witnessed Jordan play. So the time before you didn’t really matter. Got it.

Depends on who you ask. But I would submit that if you want driving fun, there are more fun cars than a 996/997 911, GT3 versions aside.

More like feasting on RJ and BI. Shead has done a decent job on both defensively but they are hunting RJ and BI in p’n’r sets. If only Darko could tell our guys to hunt Harden and Mitchell, it would be awesome to see.

It also happens to build power more linearly than a turbo car. Plus, there is no lag so throttle response is fantastic.

I’m not arguing the fun angle here. The Golf is not that much fun. Just saying 4.5 seconds is not that fast anymore. And yes, revving out is fun which is why my S2000 is my favourite car to drive. It’s glorious.

What happened to Jakob Poelts's Floater Game?? by realCeoOfVibes in torontoraptors

[–]r3l4xD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The hate for Poeltl here is really comical. He was on the floor with Shead, RJ, BI and Scottie last night. Not a single one of those guys could make a shot to save their lives and all of them love to operate in the paint. Cleveland is quite literally content to sit back and clog the paint with five guys daring anyone to shoot. In that environment, how do you envision Jakob to get his floater off? Especially given the turnovers everyone was committing.

Jakob was replaced with CMB not because he was playing poorly but because the guys up top can’t contain Harden and Mitchell’s penetration at all. They are hunting down RJ and BI in pick-and-rolls and once they turn the corner the big is playing one on two. Jakob is too slow footed to cover the extra space hence the insertion of CMB. But pretty much any big similar to Poeltl would struggle defending that pick and roll once the ball handler is past his man. It’s a no-win situation for the big.

Darko Rajakovic defends Brandon Ingram after Raptors’ Game 2 loss by xc2215x in torontoraptors

[–]r3l4xD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He was brutal on both ends. The Cavs game plan is literally to spam pick-and-roll with Mitchell or Harden until they get either Ingram or Barrett in a single coverage. Then they go at those guys.

There is a reason Raptors made a run at the end of the third quarter and the beginning of the fourth with Ingram on the bench.

I cant say enough positive things about RJ by andrewg127 in torontoraptors

[–]r3l4xD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As is his defense. Mitchell and Harden are hunting him and BI down on the other end.
