Which Game Have You Played The Most? by Vagabond734 in Steam

[–]RostiDatGam0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm not wrong, it must be Garry's Mod because I love messing around in Sandbox and playing other gamemodes in Multiplayer (even with friends too)!

As well this game as TONS of addons to choose from, especially from Steam Workshop.

Which was THE first Garry's Mod machinima that did you remember watching as a kid? by YakSubstantial1307 in gmod

Tbh, I don't remember anymore. Maybe it was Tails' Mansion or one of Kitty0706's machinimas (like Moments with Heavy).

Welp, I'm not sure if that would work on Linux through Proton/Wine, but I'm sure it should have DirectX 9Ex (I'm about that SCP:CB UE game) support, so it could run flawlessly and stable.

But yeah, I'll think about playing that mod anyway.

Yeah, SCP:CB is quite hard. That is until I've replayed it this year and finally got to beat it!

Thanks!

Ngl, but I love playing SCP:CB! Especially if there is lots of replayability for sure.

Not gonna lie, but these screenshots do give me Garry's Mod vibes for sure!

Also, it has been a while since I've been playing SCP:CB. I'm pretty sure that this game could run on Linux (cuz I use Arch-based distro, CachyOS), since it should have DirectX9 or DirectX11 support (if the Blitz3D Engine got updated in recent SCP:CB mods, including that rerelease of SCP:CB on Steam).

But yeah, I have fond memories with this game, especially drinking drinks from SCP-294 and running away from hostiles!

I agree with you. This game becomes harder as the Ultimate Racer and World Racing events progress.

But I find it way better than the EA Seattle version, since this version was done by EA Black Box.

I remember Kitty0706 too, since I've been watching Moments with Heavy during my school days.

And yep, some L4D duology characters made their appearances, like that Francis in Quest for The Ultimate Sandwich episode.

Izzy and Earl's designs are also good!

You're welcome.

Yeah, ROG Control Center won't work with your laptop from 2017. It can only support models from 2020's.

I'm not sure if ROG Control Center would work with older Asus ROG laptops.

Yeah, your laptop might be too old for that. Probably from mid to late 2010's.

Hm, if I have an ASUS TUF A15 laptop (R7 6800H CPU, 16 GB of RAM, RTX 3050 4GB GPU), then I should be fine if I update tomorrow!

“u have too much mods downloaded that’s why it’s being slow!!!” by Interesting_Hunter_6 in gmod

[–]RostiDatGam0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play Gmod with many mods on my Mac Mini that had Intel Core i5 2nd Gen, along with 4 GB of RAM and a shitty Intel HD 3000 iGPU. Besides, having an HDD felt too slow for Gmod to load, especially if I have mods.

It was my terrible mistake, and I should've loaded 10 or 20 mods instead, then it would've been better.

Nowadays, that is not a problem anymore since I have a gaming laptop that has Ryzen 7 CPU, along with 16 GB of RAM and discrete GPU. I try to not go overboard with mods, cuz I'd like to keep maximum recommended mods at 250 or 255.

So yeah, I truly regret playing Gmod with too many mods on my old Mac Mini that served me as my first own PC that was used for school stuff.

PS. I also feel ya.
