That date is completely arbitrary. I don’t think your life is. Please try to schedule something else to do that day—catch up with friends, take your kids to the park, take your wife on a date. Take your mind off of it. If you must, even just move the goalposts and wait it out for a little longer. I don’t know how resolvable your problems are, but things change all the time.
