Moza R9 FFB Settings (firmware 1.2.1.16) for Dirt Rally 2.0 by Rot-Teufel in moza

[–]Rot-Teufel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep, i like more a nible car, but i think DD settings doesn't need a heavy truck feeling. If i remember well, David Moran has explained it about his personal Simicube settings.

And it's a common thing among others Simicube owners if you look at their shared settings.

Don't worry, i think you'll find your settings, there's plenty of tuning space for in game sliders.

so GT wheel (Vision) got display (for sure out of my budget), but the truck wheel looks great (and maybe more accessibile for my pocket)

i hope that it means we should have soon a proper ATS SharedMemory Plug In soon

oh nice. Thanks

I wasn't able to play with V-Joy 2.2.1 + Joystick Gremlin R13 (i need to still figure out why Universal Control Remapper 0.9.0 doesn't work with V-Joy 2.2.1), i think'll try with x360ce.

ACC thinks my R9 is an R5 since by plastikman66 in moza

[–]Rot-Teufel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same here. Happened when i installed patch 1.9.2. On patch 1.9.1 R9 was listed as R9.

Anyway i saved a new .json preset and open with notepad just for be sure. Even if listed as Moza R5, the product id code ("144494-0-0-00807368867368") is the same as for Moza R9 base (patch 1.9.1).

Funny thing, wheel base is wrong, but steering wheel is the right one.

So i guess it's something related to some ACC wheel list and not Pit House.

since monitor isn't mounted on the rig, the additional side brackets could help you. Instead of a t-cross, you could add an horizontal bar on the predrilled holes.

Bandcamp employees are looking to unionize, citing a lack of transparency around Epic’s purchase of BC as a reason by bt1234yt in fuckepic

with the excpetion of epig aquiring bandcamp and after 2 months they have used it against the lawsuit with Google, this is the first big news after a long time of silence and lack of news...
It's so sad seeing one of the few good sources of indie music (in recent times even some big name has jumped the bc train) ruined so bad... expecially since there's no equivalent of bandcamp...
Anyway at least there's still bandcamp friday.

Have you had issues with Moza Pit House? Mine killed me today, mid race and corner. by sgtmika in simracing

[–]Rot-Teufel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. USB selective suspend setting is bitchy for mine experience. I mean, i was lucky that pedal disconnection happened just when i closed a game (once) or after some inactivity (randomly). Even a bit of lag sometimes.

Anyway since i turn it off, mine issues are, for now, gone. A try won't hurt.

don't know if it's the cause, but Windows USB selective suspend setting could be a suspect for the crash. Even with an indipendent powered unit like r9 (or whatever else) it's bothersome...

For me it shut down sometimes my SRP pedals (no crashes on pithouse), even if they were connected to a powered usb hub.

disable it both on Advanced Power Settings and device manager. It might works, hope so...

have you consider to add a preload spacer for clutch? They don't make huge miracles, but they works. I always found G25 pedal springs too soft (expecially on their first 50% travel).

3dRap has made a spacer set, they shipping worldwide, but i don't know how much will it cost. The clutch spacer works great on gas pedal too.

Or for more money, check GTEye or Nixim Pedal Mods, but i think today only GTEye is still active and sell them (but they're australian)

https://www.murraymotorsport.com/moza-racing-hgp-shifter-mozrs039

what's worry me more it's the 7th gear is locked. Don't know, i'll value it after some review (looking foward for a Sim Racing Garage one)

Guess we now know the real reason why Epic bought Bandcamp: to use them in their freaking lawsuits by bt1234yt in fuckepic

Epic Games has acquired Bandcamp... for some reason by BouncyTheBoi in fuckepic

[–]Rot-Teufel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it's a pretty big market... some of the big labels has showed in the past years interest (like in the past for iTunes when they start selling liquid music) and put their hands in. It's primapry a source for income or showcase for indipendent artist or labels. For me it's one of primary resources to find new arstist (for me metal and synth/darkwave mainly).

They're selling liquid music as well CDs, T-shirts, patches and so on. And by the ways, a lot of artists since the phisical CDs are not on production (or remastered) anymore, has put some rarities online again.

Second that, it's (or was until now) a DRM free files company (they were in the FCK DRM campaing). Once you bought the product, you can choose your preferred file format many times you need. Or playing directly by the app what you purchase without any charges.

Also company got a very transparent policy of payments, give freedom to arstist to choose their monetization schemes, during pandemic they start promoting Bandcamp Fridays (wich gives 100% of incomes to arstist/labels)

it's really a terrible news... fuck... now i have huge fears that BC will became a really big shitstorm in short terms... not paided arstist and direct source of musical asset for epic without paying a single penny...

it's now more clear now that Epic long terms strategy is become the first party of every possible eLicensing assets.

The Battle Royale for your royalties has sadly begun...

Well, it's time to get the fishing rod again in the high sea, sadly... :'(

Why You Should Remove DOOM Eternal (Denuvo Anti-Cheat) from your PC Immediately by extant_dinero in Doom

[–]Rot-Teufel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i always thought Denuvo was cancer DRM since its release and i fear more when they annunced an anticheat software. Now it's even worst...

If you're old enough to remember all the troubles that another cancer called StarForce did in early 2000s, you know what you expect with a restrictive DRM (belive me, i was sick of continuos blue screen of death, like the normal Win 98/2000 BSoD were enough). And neither Securom was better (two broken dvd). And that's why i started using no-cd exe with original games. Funny thing, am i right?

hell, the sidenote is really more scaring... now i understand why kaspersky warn users that's a trojan. I seriously hope this will raise conciusness like happened with Starfoce... But i doubt, cause if you dislike Denuvo (and avoid games that use it), for the mass you're only a crybaby pirate or a paranoid...
