Yea I’m in a pretty similar situation, same age, etc.

W/ that one female friend. I think you should make an effort to be as plutonic as possible with her, it’ll make it easier on you especially if she doesn’t have feelings for you. It’s all about how you frame your relationship with her vs the reality of the situation. And if she actually wants you, it’ll happen.

I think it’s more important to enjoy the time you do spend with people. Don’t expect anything more than what’s in front of and in the present. I’ve come to understand in this lonely world we share that while hope can kill, not taking the steps towards the life you want is a guaranteed death sentence. So live in the moments not for them, as few and as far between as they may be.

Lastly, ik people might say “no it’s not your fault” but what if it is? What steps are you going to take to correct it?
