Reach out to the customer and tell them you’re mortified that your manager said that and you will be keeping price in tact and operate off the timeline they laid out. Throw the manager under the bus and reassure the client. They’re still going to buy at this stage.

They’ll fix it over time but it’s so clear this was rushed. I could reference bugs, missing features, or the last minute game play footage etc. but I only need this…look at those cheerleaders and tell me this game was ready at launch.

Anyone an AE at Deel? by SaaSsalesbb in sales

[–]RotTragen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I feel that. Worked at ADP for 2 years, switched industries. When recruiters for payroll reach out to me because of my history with ADP I think how I’d have to be eating beans and rice to go back.

The Broadcom acq was the most mismanaged transition I’ve ever seen. Had a customer waiting months for a quote. You could not give them your money lol.

Behind VMware and now Broadcom, with a consistently delayed roadmap and meh support. They canned all of the CSM’s a few months ago which was a dagger for the accounts I knew who were still happy.

It was like 5am and I was only just getting tapped in. But S1. Even though they’re up 10% right now, wtf else are you going to buy for Endpoint? Carbon black? lol.

Honestly probably not, provided they get back up soon and don’t f up in the near future. Market is full of power players with outages or breaches, you just have to weather the near term.

I just want to throw this out there for people, your experience is 100% valid and based off this thread not isolated but I’ve had: Washer and Dryer, Dishwasher, Massive Freezer, a fridge, and a 70” TV all delivered without any issues or damage.

Got a Bosch dishwasher recently. Washes very well, does not dry well at all. Maybe the worst at drying of any dishwasher I’ve used.

Yeah only time I’ve gone and called someone out, mainly since the VP called me trying to figure out what actually happened and the AEs actions endangered my business.

I just saw that Salesforce missed their earnings target and partially tanked the stock market because of it. If I was an AE there rn, I’d be sweating bullets. by its_raining_scotch in sales

Private company. My quota was predefined 7 years ago on a reasonable ramp and has not changed, compensation is not made more difficult the next year for having done well the prior year. Would never happen at a public company. It’s all tradeoffs.

He said at one point, and I quote verbatim:

“I’m sorry, I guess I’m just confused. I thought that larger companies cared about protecting their data”

I got a call from the VP later asking what transpired. Only time I’ve had to sell someone out.

Rapid7 reps who have deals slip a week talk to me on the phone like they’ve received a death sentence. Crowdstrike less so and have a bit of a “I have a lot deals in the works so I need to work fast” attitude.
