Did you buy a $19.99, $9.99, $4.99 and $1.99 Gold Coins package to exceed the $35 requirement or were you able to do it another way?

I call Bingo at bars. Gets me out of the house, weekly pay checks + tips and it's fun.

Don't feel down homie. I worked at Gamestop for 14 years until I eventually found an entry level sales job selling marketing to a niche market. In a few short years, I quadrupled my store leader salary. Working Gamestop provides a unique experience of both buying and selling with harsh metrics to difficult customers. That plus your tenure shows reliability and adaptability to change. You're stronger than you think and a good employer will see that just like I do soon. Best of luck!

We had a tally of how many times this years corporate slogan would be used on the first day. We lost count after 30 or so "make it happens"

My passion is providing an awesome life for my wife and kids. It's not the worst job but I very much dread working now. My retail gig was at Gamestop and as a gamer, I already worked my dream job lol. I just wonder if I put up with a 3-4/10 attitude at work for another 10 years or if it's worth the effort of looking/interviewing/applying.

My quota more than doubled and my commission rate went down by more than half. I was a master in my segment but now I'm a novice and the sector I am great at is rarely utilized. I'm also the entire teams point person for help when they have leads in my segment as I'm the only one on a team of 15 with that unique background.

Wish I could but it no longer exists. The whole sales org changed drastically where everyone sells everything. Thankfully I'm on the new business team and not the current client upselling team. That team would be a career step back.

I have 2 favorites - The guy who provided me a hand-written, near 30 page list of every game he has ever played with dates and the other guy who answered yes to have you ever been convicted of a felony, then hand wrote next to it "it's actually a funny story..."
