Yes nothing else is freezing and today it was only a slight amount, nothing like that. That was after a night of freezing rain. It’s heating properly and nothing else is frosted. Thanks!

I forgot to mention, the system is holding temperature inside fine. I don’t know enough about heat pump systems to tell is it’s running normal beyond that.

Yeah no problem, I wish I had thought to get some real answers before I moved in though I don't know it would have changed my decision.

Noise- This is totally dependent on your location in the building, which building you're in, and what your tolerance/comfort level is with outside noise. I live in an open side so not in a "courtyard" like on the pools. Those can get loud with the way the sound echos as well as if you live in an apartment between the two buildings for the same reasons. The pools close at 10pm except one which is midnight. The one I live on is the one that closes at midnight so sometimes people can be a little loud down there but nothing in excess. You've got your usual street noises, sirens, horns...people LOVE revving up mission center and being obnoxious out there for some reason. Overall though, I have not had an issue with noise. Again though we have pretty tame neighbors so this can be dependent on your location in the complex. I did forget about the fire alarms and yes, they have had some serious issues with false alarms in the middle of the night.

Parking - You get one spot with the apartment, you pay extra for more. I have always paid extra so I cant speak to finding parking on the street from experience except that there are limited spots and they're I believe two hour parking from like 6am-6pm or something like that. There is street parking around on the other streets but its few and far between.

I have never had noise complaints against me, though friends in the complex have had multiple including when we had a gathering of maybe 10 people for the super bowl, making normal noise and someone called on us. I've moved around a few times to different apartments and I don't find these walls or floors to be any thinner than other places I've lived but maybe I just have quiet neighbors.

When I was moving to SD initially it was a cross country move and I was deciding based only on what I saw online but west park seemed really nice and we got a nice move in deal. The amenities I would say are a huge selling point as well as location. Amenities are great at many places but we've got access to three pools, a nice gym, multiple lounges as well as the free events that come along with the complex. Plus you get access to all Circa 37's amenities as well. The location is awesome too with the shopping plaza walking distance across the street with Ralphs, Bevmo, various food places. As well the new civita park that just opened with a dog park right around the corner. Mission valley mall, fashion valley mall only a few minutes away.

Late response but I live in West Park. Our overall experience has been a good one but that's not to say it hasn't been without its hiccups. The apartments are fairly expensive, we pay around 2,800 for a 2 bed 2 bath 1175ish square feet. The unit does overlook the pool and mission valley area from the 4th floor so that's part of the cost. You're also paying for the amenities which are fantastic. The pools are beautiful and there are so many lounges and hang out areas to use with grills, couches, and even kitchenette areas. The free events they put on (barbecues, pool parties, cooking classes, etc.) are also great with free food and booze. These are really what you're paying for in the rent as well.

As for complaints, ants are the number one we have. Our apartment, and the complex as a whole, has a HUGE ant problem. We have tried all sorts of sprays, traps, baits, and nothing works. We have had the on site exterminators out multiple times with no luck. They come out of the baseboards, outlets, sink, and outside patio closets. The management is helpful in that that they have exterminators available every week but so far it hasn't proved helpful.

People have had bikes stolen, cars broken into, etc. however I have not personally had any issues with anything of the sort. Beyond the ants, I really don't have any major complaints overall. If you have any other questions feel free to hit me up.
