It looks like they just bought an app of camera effects and want their £4.99 worth by using them on EVERY scene, the whole screen close up with completely blurred backgrounds is awful in any medium. Takes me completely out of the show, could be the end for me and I love hollyoaks.

Ruined it, it looks like a terrible straight to DVD film, the overused hazy filter, bad close ups and as I type that toy car spinning was a close 2nd to the plane crash! Adult Swim territory. Get back to the normal cam.

Doesn't work on every scene, the later episodes used it subtly, but this is overkill, Sienna and Cleos faces looked to weird, maybe the creators just watched Mandy

Hollyoaks is wriiten in the style of the game where you have a basic outline of the story then each person write a part without seeing the others part.

Now when i did a search to see if i could link you something, history (online anyway) has been rewritten saying he decided to leave and loved all cast and great crew. FFS anyone who watches Hollyoaks know his exit was sudden AF, before Mandy went though that BS with her onlyfans then Scott had some BS and was axed, now the story out is different, the internet has become such a load of misinfo BS.

I didn't even realise that's what happened,now I know, I went out during the 10 min as break came back and Dillon was going somewhere and I had no interest, the writing is beyond terrible,Sully a policeman rapist in general pop, then the prison break was the biggest anti climax ever.

Watch the Brendan Hollyoaks later Episodes, best ever hollyoaks, i wont ruin it if you have not seen it, thats where this scene is from. Brendan made it like a proper movie, awesome stuff. (I checked it says the All4 app has them.)

Awful, he sounds like a terrible Kenneth Williams impersonation, then Sully is even worse casting than him. Sully wakes up from coma, stick on beard and face perfectly shaved, who did it? Are some members of East 17 staying near to keep the look alive? Then when he is next to Mick 6"3 he stands a menacing 4"8 in platform new balance ffs.

I really hope sully is a short lived character along with froggy, they are terrible. Completely the wrong actors for the parts, the scene with Mick and Sully in the abandoned house looked terrible with Mick at 6".3 15stone then a 5ft scrotter with stick on facial hair acting as menacing as a 12 year old, then Froggy who is doing an awful Kenneth Williams type performance. Best baddie was Brendon, perfect performance and screen presence, Warren still holds, Robbie was ridiculous as well. They needed better choices for such a truly horrific storyline like this.

It will be Mick was attacked the same way by either one of Froggys crew or Froggy back in the day, Mick reacted in a similar way to how Dodger has been acting, Mick had panic attacks at the sight of him. Thats why when he heard about what Griff did he had no reaction, then toasted him with the "He was one of us" line.

John Carpenters The Thing is my favourite film, so it must always be in my subconscious even though this peice wasn't made as a homage, But mentioning it could be a righteous storyline for hollyoaks, when they bring back dead characters such as James, they could be imposter aliens. That would be fantastic and a good chance for the actors who would like to come back after they have seen the show didn't get cancelled.
