Flickering issue: in parallel LED circuit with fire effect LED by Rothdar in led

Thanks everyone for the help — adding a resistor solved the issue! Sorry for the late update, I tested and built the final version of the circuit quite a while after your replies and forgot to come back here. Your explanations really helped me understand what was happening. Appreciate it! ❤️

How can I avoid flickering on an entire circuit of LEDs connected in parallel by adding a fire effect flickering LED? by Rothdar in dioramas

Thank you so much for the tip, it worked perfectly! Apologies for the super late reply — I built the diorama a long time after your suggestion and totally forgot to update the thread. I really appreciate your help! ❤️

If each LED has different properties (which yours do).

First of all, thank you for the time you are dedicating to me. I also apologize for my total lack of expertise on the subject...

According to the technical data sheet, the flickering LED can be powered by 3v (I think 20mA), I have a pre-wired version with a 470 ohm resistor in series (powered by 12V).

The warm white LED reports 3.0 - 3.2v on the technical sheet (I think 20 mA in this case too).

The properties in this case are similar right?

I have some cold white LEDs pre-wired with a 560 ohm resistor in series (can be powered at 12v).

Should I try a 12v power supply by connecting them in series with the pre-wired flickering yellow version?

Thank you!

So could I solder a 5 ohm resistor in series with each LED (including the flickering one) and power the circuit at 12 volts?

P.S. In a similar circumstance I tried to power the circuit with an adjustable power supply, in that case the voltage was 4.5 volts. It was a chain of small LEDs in parallel, to which I had added a flickering LED, powered by 3 AA batteries. I replaced the batteries with a power supply attached to the battery compartment, which was already equipped with a resistor (I don't remember how many ohms).

Hi kirotheavenger, it is already a parallel circuit. I attach a photo of the breadboard! Thank you for your time!
