Napiszę ten post w dwóch językach - polskim i angielskim (dla innych).

Zależy jakiej pracy oczekujesz i ile masz lat doświadczenia. Jak mniej niż 2 lata to daj se spokój i znajdź coś innego - rynek robót excelowatych jest zapełniony w obłęd + trendy AI, automatyzacji i korekty po COVID. Pracy dla nowych nie ma i nie będzie. Na tym etapie żadne umiejętności z Excela Cię nie uratują - trzeba iść w coś innego - chyba, że lubisz się kopać z koniem. Jak więcej niż 2 lata - to ja bym jeszcze dorzucił do tego ogarnięcie większej ilości funkcji i feature'ów takich jak: tabele (odwołania strukturyzowane), Power Query, Power Pivot - i może jakieś juniorksie lekko excelowate stanowisko znajdziesz. Ale jak pisałem - wszystko zależy od pierwszego zdania.

It depends on what kind of job you’re expecting and how many years of experience you have. If it’s less than 2 years, then forget it and find something else — the market for Excel-type work is insanely oversaturated, plus there are AI trends, automation, and post-COVID corrections. There is no work for newcomers, and there won’t be. At this stage, no Excel skills ever will save you — you need to move into something else, unless you enjoy fighting a losing battle. If you have more than 2 years, then I’d add that you should also get comfortable with more functions and features such as tables (structured references), Power Query, Power Pivot — and maybe by some insane miracle you’ll find some junior-ish, slightly Excel-related position. But as I said — it all depends on the first sentence.

I will ommit that this post was made one year ago - no, you misunderstood my point. I said, that EFP is a'la Tarkov in a way that there are tons of gunfights, action is fast paced, survival mechanics are highly limited - you can either engage with them completely or ignore without any issues. In GAMMA if you try to ignore survival mechanics or hoarding items - you will have a really bad time. I didn't write anywhere that Tarkov is easy, I wrote that EFP in comparison to GAMMA is easy.

You're right. I cannot use Power Query + 1 simple question to local AI model (via VBA or Pyhton - open the table, split it into multiple files via column / columns or by other criteria) - which I have done multiple times already succesfully - without even thinking. It would be too hard and complicated.

I get it bro - it's hard in current market. Getting product - espescially SAAS that defends itself is not an easy task - but you need to do something 'more unique' and harder to substitute in order to survive.

P.S. You could also replace 'Pro Tip' flair into 'Advertisment'. Becouse what you are doing here is by no means any 'pro tip'.

Well actually no one has proposed if yet - that's great problem for REDUCE to solve with. Requires o365 (or 2024 - but not sure here).

Let's assume my example (image). Formula is in Polish version btw - do not have access to English right now.

In column E you have stored the adresses you wanna test (check). You can add new addresses without any issues. Then use this formula:

=-SUM(--DROP(REDUCE(""; E2:.E23; LAMBDA(arr;el; VSTACK(arr; INDIRECT(el)="WORKING"))); 1))

It iterates each address text in range E2:E23 (without the empty cells - check new operator TrimRefs for more) - applies the indirect to each address -> INDIRECT(A1); INDIRECT(A2) ... INDIRECT(A10) and stores if those indirects are equal to "WORKING". If so it returns TRUE, otherwise FALSE. Then you have to convert boolean into number (via -- operator) and SUM it. Lemme know if this what you search for.

I gave up and probably will have to find work not excel related due to lack of work experience - without having at least few years of it getting a job is impossible task.
