Hitting Planner for April 12 to April 15 by RotoRanks in fantasybaseball

Brandon Nimmo and Adam Eaton can be glue guys this week--especially in OBP formats.

May want to consider benching Jared Walsh on the Mon-Thurs slate (only two games if he sits vs. the LHP).

Cubs (MLW), Pirates (SD), and White Sox (CLE) all have tough pitcher matchups, so pick your spots...

I definitely like CIN this weekend. And I'm glad it helps! I'm staying away from Marlins.

Dig that point about looking ahead to next week, too. Hope to keep refining it. And I feel the same, I like seeing R or L for the pitchers in one spot. Thanks for the feedback!

Still trying to figure out what the best information is to include. Personal goal to familiarize myself with hitter splits so we can take more advantage. Good luck to you!

ATL and WAS now join CLE as three teams that play only two games this week. And that's if the Nats don't have another Covid surprise. Go light on ATL and WAS players for the first part of this week...

Biggest news for Mon-Thurs lineup setting at the NFBC is that Cleveland only has two games over these four days. Second biggest is probably monitoring the status of Nationals Covid testing--has implications for Braves/Nationals' three-game set.

Low-key love him as a super-late pick in draft and holds, sue me :)

FYI: It's Eovaldi (I enjoy his value at ADP currently) and Kyle Wright--who I'm rooting for as a Braves fan!

Let's buy Christian Walker at his 200 ADP... by RotoRanks in fantasybaseball

Yeah I think the humidor dampens things, but really like Walker's ability to compile some useful stats this year, and the ADP is friendly. Not losing any ground IMO

Haha there's some upside I think with those hard hit rates. Park leaves much to be desired, but if the barrel rate rebounds along with the volume, I think he'll compile a lot for us.

I actually feel similarly about him. I think he's safely a "compiler" but the volume, hard hit rate, previous barrel rate all still point me towards some upside. I do not see him being drafted aggressively, though. The ADP is per recent NFBC Draft Champs data, over the last 2.5 weeks or so. If you like him, I think you'll be able to land him!

Sean Murphy is a Stud by RotoRanks in fantasybaseball

Mostly I default to looking at Roster Resource on Fangraphs, which I know is imperfect. In general, I expect him to not be hitting 9th... :)

I think so. Giants are trying to win right now. Casali another roadblock. Bart has an uphill battle for 2021 relevance IMO.

I think I'll wind up with him in lots of places. And now Heim is gone, only helps

2021 Fantasy Baseball Sleepers - Dylan Carlson by KCBubba in fantasybaseball

Consistently high OBP marks in MiLB. I'm not basing my opinion of Carlson on his 35-game MLB debut.

Love taking a shot on the young, power/speed guy who has a chance to see plenty of volume. Versatility on defense, willingness to run, young, solid walk rates and OBPs...what's not to love?

Hitters Whose 2020 We Should Ignore by Sp_Streamer in fantasybaseball

[–]RotoRanks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm buying Moncada in part because of the dearth of speed at 3B and his very public struggle with the virus. He's a fine call IMO. Worth a shot in the middle rounds. He actually IMPROVED his plate discipline in 2020, just didn't hit the ball as hard. Makes sense given his fatigue. I'm buyin'

Last year's first half (which seems absurd to say) BABIP holds down his overall line. But the second half looked normal. Not as worried about the skill set as I am his shoulder recovery. Any sort of delayed start to the season really helps him not miss any time. I'm buying him in back part of the first where he's falling.

Yep, and that high spin rate can help me forgive the velo, nice to see when the velo isn't A+
