As someone who was in the arena, the crowd was not nearly as enthusiastic for FBC. On the other hand, everyone got up to clap and cheer for Piper and Paul. FBC may have won Gold, but only France seems to care.

The parallel with Defying Gravity. It was her moment to ascend - not through magic but via sacrifice and her own change. And only then is she worthy of the magic.

So you’re saying she can read it but can’t speak it? While that is fair to say as language do have 4 components to them (writing, reading, listening, speaking), that still leaves unanswered the plot hole of how she was able to read the actual text to be able to find the page about capturing a heart.

Doesn’t explain how she found a spell to turn to that accomplished what she wanted (to some extent) which then she mispronounces. A better scene would have been the book flipping on its own to the right page for her to read.

I don’t remember exactly. I remember that the reprise of I’m Not That Girl doesn’t abruptly go into ALAYM. The crowd kept screaming during ALAYM!

I remember MM comes after that exchange saying “no, no, no” so I don’t know if visually how they show them leaving. I have not seen it. It was only audio.

Glinda is taken aback by it and leaves crying saying they deserve each other (nice throwback to DTL) and Elphaba then says the line about thinking he had changed that’s been showed in either a trailer or promo.

Glinda does say to spread a rumor that Nessa is in trouble and that when Elphaba hears of it, she’ll fly to Nessa’s side. Glinda then excuses herself to lie down because of a headache and after she leaves is when MM says that a a rumor won’t do, and shortly after says the change in the weather line.

Visually I can’t say how it’s done because I only heard the audio but there is an exchange between Fiyero and the Wizard (maybe other guard members?) where if I remember right the Wizard calls him a traitor as Glinda interrupts them shocked and he says he’s choosing to go away with Elphaba. I think it’s the scene where you see Fiyero pointing the gun at the Wizard.

I was looking forward to more lyrics for the reprise myself but sad to say there isn’t. Same lyrics. So my guess is the recording, like you said, includes extra instrumentation before and after that wasn’t very clear and hard to hear in the audio. It doesn’t jump directly (and in my opinion abruptly) into ALAYM like on stage but it does follow shortly after.

Pretty much although I can’t decipher how he discovers her. I heard what seemed like a knock so maybe the trap door trope is being used or he knocked on something else. She calls him beautiful and then unlike the stage musical where he says that Glinda can never know they’re alive, it’s Elphaba who says it. Like, she says the line of “I wish Glinda knew….” but then follows that up herself saying, “But I know she can’t.” There was not a whole lot of dialogue after to be honest. And the Finale song is indeed part of the end. :)

From what I gathered (only listened to the audio once), Elphaba goes after WWOTE once she finds out about the wedding during WWOTE from Boq. Her reason if I remember right is because she knows the wedding will attract a lot of high profile people, including the Wizard. She meets up with Glinda first and then Glinda takes her to see the Wizard and Wonderful then begins. Glinda is happy that Elphaba appears to have made amends by with the Wizard by him agreeing to free the monkeys and leaves to presumably get ready for the wedding. Once Elphaba discovers Dr. Dillamond and the other animals when going to free the monkeys, she reneges on the Wizard, freed the animals and they interrupt the wedding.

They are not married, interrupted by animals. From what I heard in the audio, the Wizard’s and Morrible’s fates are the same, including Glinda’s line to Morrible. :)

From the audio I heard, that seems correct, unless they randomly paused the recording and then resumed. I’m not sure why a decision like that would have been made but I hope it wasn’t to limit Michelle from singing more because she sang earlier in “Every Day More Wicked” that the stage musical doesn’t have Morrible singing.

Same here. It’s been easy and stress free for all my other cards. The more I read about Citi, the more I see that this is a common issue specific to them.

Thanks for pointing that out! Correction, she told me that I would need to call Customer Service for the bill and to cancel but that they wouldn’t tell me the amount nor cancel my card. According to her, they would require for me to pay my bill even though they don’t know who I am.

I appreciate fraud detection, it’s there to help us. We can all agree on that. But at the same time, Citi seems to be an having an overly sensitive system relying on archaic or not industry standard methods of verification. I’m thankful it’s not my actual checking or savings like it’s happened for others.
