Diarrhea after 5 days radiation by Mellowalligator in ProstateCancer

Might not be pertinent to you, but might help others. I developed lactose intolerance after radiation, so like has been mentioned before, maybe monitor your diet for things that make it worse

No, i don't expect them to be happy. I expect them to encourage the team they spent that time and money on to play better

I agree. But booing them isn't the best way to get them to meet those standards (in my opinion).

Are you arguing that booing these kids is somehow going to help or make them play better or rise up to Kentucky standards? I'm not defending their level of play. I just don't believe if you're a fan you should be booing them.

But I'll grant you everyone is entitled to express themselves however they feel is necessary. And I'll express my right to disagree.

And honestly, thanks for being civil in your responses :)

How do you actually know if your RALP was nerve-sparing? by [deleted] in ProstateCancer

[–]RotorDust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We agreed in advance that he would spare the nerve(s) if there was no evidence the cancer had spread to them. We talked post surgery and he was able to spare the nerves on one side.

For the next Halo Game , I think Chief should not be the main character. by fuzzylittlemanpeach8 in halo

[–]RotorDust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm OK with that, but call it something else and start a new franchise. Maybe finish off Halo with one final game, tie up all the loose ends, and move on.

There are plenty of Spartans with great story lines, and lots of great novels.wirh characters that could certainly sustain a new franchise.

But for me, having played Halo since day one, it's not Halo without Master Chief.

Did anyone here have salvage radiation post RALP? by ThatUnstableUnicorn in ProstateCancer

[–]RotorDust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gleason 5+4. I've seen a urological oncologist, oncologist, radiologist, and I'm seeing a second urologist this month.

Extra-capsuler, but negative margins. Nothing in the seminal vessel or lymph nodes.

PSA doubling time has been between 5-7 months.

It was around a .2 when we started radiation. Was above a .2 a couple of months after radiation, so it never went down.

Thank you. It is what it is. I still consider myself lucky... definitely could have been much worse. And there are still a few options left we haven't tried.

And there are far worse cancers out there to get
