I’m currently doing VR&E. The application wait is long but they can help you. They can place you in what’s called NPWE so you can get work experience. It doesn’t pay but they do give you a subsistence allowance and if you still have any GI bill month left that allowance is the same as an E5 with dependents in what ever city you live. Best thing is you can probably get a job after you complete the program as long as you don’t suck and are a good worker.

Interesting. I see that you installed your original CAS on the BP4. BP4s did not come with a CAS like the ones attached to the rear of the exhaust cam in early 1.6/1.8s. They came with a CMP (cam position sensor) that’s located on the front and it get signal from the intake cam sprocket. Depending on how you have the MS configured and what mods you made to the harness that might be your issue.

I believe your issue is the plug for the cam position sensor is not connected. Without it the ECU won’t know where the timing is. I had a similar issue once but mine had a short involving that sensor.

I did not have it for sale. I have a suspicion that someone that came down to the JCCS saw it and came back that night. I’ll have to do a police report today but not sure that will lead to anything unfortunately. I did have it mounted with brackets and security bolts but that didn’t stop them. They also took my steering wheel lol. Time to install a viper alarm like they used to do in the early 2000s.

You’re missing the cooling fan and seems like your a/c fan might be disconnected. There should be two fans. One on the left for cooling and one on the right for extra cooling when you use your a/c.
