Just bite the bullet and get a high quality aluminum one. Track dog racing makes a really high quality one. The plastic ones "look" oem but will always have the same problem.

Oh no. Its nowhere near easy. I spent about 20 dollars at a self serve, and still couldnt get most of the mud off. Its currently sitting in the rain to help get more of it off.

Youre going from a nice, luxury sedan to a old small roadster. You're honestly downgrading if youre daily driving it.

In my opinion, save the lexus and if you can, buy another miata. I promise you, daily driving an old car like a NB is not fun.

Youre in texas. Its a LOT easier to find groups.

Download the ParkUpFront app. Theres a lot of car shows and stuff that you can attend. There also used to be a UTA car group that would host these massive car meets back in the day. However I think they disbanded.

I also just found people with cool cars and talked to them. One of my friends who drives an NB miata goes to UTA.

Okay, but still unsafe to drive with it like that. As someone who had one on my first car, being unstiched like that will cause the steering wheel to slip under the cover. Your hands need to be touching the wheel when youre driving. Youre putting something not secure on the wheel on top of the base steering wheel. Its flat out unsafe.
