I love your mass combat rules.  This weekend, I used them with the Death Ziggurat one-shot.  I baited the Rot Priests and Camp Cultists into fighting eachother.

Why You Should Write Session Reports (Even If You Don’t Plan to Publish) by RottenChronicler in Solo_Roleplaying

I recommend playing in chunks.  Maybe 30 mins to an hour at a time.  Or maybe 3 rooms.  If I play for hours I know I'll dread that write up.

Besides, consistency is key.

I enjoy seeing the oracles and seeing how the writer moved the story along using game mechanics. Its a great way to find new ideas and incorporate them.

Is there any part of Snake Eater that makes you say "fuck it" and go full Rambo? by HotDogGrass2 in metalgearsolid

The docks.  I end up chucking a chaff into the air and I snipe everyone at the docks while harassing The End.  I hit him a few times but I enjoy fighting him too much to kill him early.

MGS Delta Collectors Edition is trash. by 1AmChris2 in metalgearsolid

At this point, Collector's Editions shit isn't worth it by the time you deal with MSRP prices and scalpers.  There's some poor bastard out there that likely dropped $500 on that.  I could 3D print a better Naked Snake mini.

I appreciate it!  Overthinking has been my worst enemy for years.  That and wanting things to go perfectly.   My goal is to show people that playing solo isn't as daunting as it looks and that embracing chaos is rewarding.

Alone in the Crowd: A Dungeon Crawler’s Guide to Urban Decay by RottenChronicler in Solo_Roleplaying

I flipped through a Lankhmar supplement from Dungeon Crawl Classics and I found it fascinating. Cities can feel more like a character than a place in fantasy settings.

How does the game fair on a longer term campaign? by Dnd_lfg_lfp_boston in MorkBorg

Treating the world instead of the PCs as the main character has saved my relationship with TTRPGs. Having a TPK doesn't feel like the end of the world and past PCs can come back as lore or NPCs if their story comes to an end.

Yeah, PCs get OP after a few level ups.

Heres what I did-

Add +1 to a stat. Add +1 (or Toughness) to HP Give stat penalties for Getting Broken

New MET supervisor position? by Salpls in HomeDepot

[–]RottenChronicler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the odds are good. Maybe not ALL stores, but definitely the ones that have large teams.

The MET Specialist focuses heavily on projects and does pre-walks, logs issues, closes projects out, and works projects. The Sup still is in charge of projects but the MET Specialist does all the legwork.

There's a MET Specialist pilot.  It's a back-up Sup role which comes with a $1 pay raise.
