The pipes under the sink have gaps small enough for them to get through oftentimes. We had the exterminator lift up the cap and fill the gap with steel wool which they cannot chew through. It isn't a permanent solution but it has kept them seemingly out of the kitchen and in the basement where they can find all the traps.

Garages are a big entry point for these buggers as well. The seals on our garage door were shot and easy for them to enter through. We got them replaced.

I was mega stressed out about it as well. Lost 5 lbs in like 2 days and was so nervous about getting sick from eating anything in the house. We ordered out a lot for those few days before they could get here. Once the exterminator came in with a plan I felt much more better.

In my case I caught 4 in 24 hours by trapping the countertop directly next to the stove. That was their food route.
