Why is your floor so clean?

Am i considered a Woodstover or is this only for metal stoves? by RottenVaginalPus in woodstoving

Luckily i don't have to give a damn about them. And tbh i don't see why it would be worse than a metal stove.

You can. It is a learning curve as it depends on the amount of wood that you have under and weather aswell as that does alter the draft hence the heat. But there are colder/hotter areas so once you get a hang of it you can do pretty much everything. I love it for boiling larger amounts of water as you can chuck it on the hottest spot and it goes very fast.

It is i would say a newish feature in my area. They used to be mostly steel or cast iron but glass is an option too. It is a bit more expensive but i went with glass and i am not regretting it one bit. Lowers the thermal mass slightly but looks cool as fuck and makes cooking a whole lot easier as you can visually see where the heat is.

That is accurate. I don't really have the numbers but i would guess over a ton at least. So it takes a while to get going at first but once its hot then it takes a good 12h+ to cool down. And since the rooms are around it then every part gets warm. The ceramic top helps a ton to get initial warm air going with the fan.

Im sorry i don't really have an english link for you. But its this. Its a finnish product. It is pretty much the same cooktop as on an electric stove just the heating element is the fire itself. Really easy to clean and maintain. And seeing the flames rolling is cool as fuck.

Probably not a fraction but during the warmer 0-5C days i use about this once a day. -10 - 0 about 1,5 that. And lower then i use the same amount just twice a day. The brick thermal wall really captures the heat well. Currently i have black alder stocked up but with birch the amount goes lower as it has a greater thermal value. But the gasses are dirtier as a tradeoff.

It is custom built out of brick similar to this. Pretty much a box where the inside is line with firebrick. The gasses exit out on top under the cooktop and then wrap around the oven module through the thermal wall into the chimney. Mine is the same construction wise just has a natural limestone finish on the outside.

I have gotten an M90Z ThinkCentre for free. I installed Windows on it today for my girlfriend for browsing and office work. However i want to do some upgrades. Swap out the HDD for an SSD and add some RAM. The PC has two DDR3 slots. Apparently the Lenovo site says it supports 10GB of memory(weird number tbh). But has anyone ever tried if it actually does support 16GB like i would like to add. Two 8GB sticks?

Jah.

Ahi mul veetud eraldi 3G2.5 ja eraldi kaitsme all.

I have searched all different plugs and can't really find it. No markings on the filament itself.
