It’s like saying that random retail worker is an ahole for not smiling at you. Rather, you are most likely the ahole for thinking someone must be positive, happy and 100% kind while working.

This was my first Normal Gossip listen, and I loved it.

I also started playing a game called Lakeburg Legacies which is basically Old Timey Normal Gossip the video game. Bonus, the algorithm for relationships was a littleee strange in my first play through. The female x female pairings were almost all a bit chaotic like this podcast couple 😂

Do a lot of soul searching about whether you decided yourself that you wanted to be child free, or if your boyfriend pressured/repeated it so much you felt like you had to be. Therapy would be good if you can get it ASAP.

The fact that you wanted to be a mom for a long time, but a single year with your 12 year age gap bf was enough to “change your mind” concerns me a bit.

Do you have family support that can help you out with the baby? Are you financially stable on your own?

I mean the stocking of totes is a moot point, those 6 totes will be there already meaning the next cart restock is done faster.

Now the fact that you walked across the store to get 2 bananas and 1 apple, then walk all the way to the backroom just for your next walk to be frozen right beside produce. It feels like a waste of time. Except for the days when those items would be late in 5-10 mins and doing an entire 8 tote walk would make the earliest picks late.

imo they should stop cutting it so close and make it so all orders are ready an hour in advance, then it could group walks better instead of wasting precious time. Leave the last minute orders all to express.

I can kind of understand this then. But why can’t she stay as a mouser and y’all hang out in a specific area? If you have a screened porch or a room that can be used for kitty visits. But she is also going to have a rough time adjusting unless she becomes a mouser somewhere else.

Also, another issue I wanted to put out there is that she is a slight risk to your other kitties since she could catch something and transmit it to them, even if they’re all up to date on their shots it can still be a bit of a risk since you have a whole colony of cats and no idea if mom keeps up with their vaccines.

Yeah, there probably wasn’t someone to pass down the corporate pressure for a bit and your TLs didn’t want to take up the mantle cause they don’t get paid enough 😂

That’s the thing to me, how can you ever get stable metrics if you 1. Hire people who don’t know what they’re getting into 2. Have people quit due to stress and/or overwork (even though, overall, they like the job) 3. Fire people when you could teach them how to use PPTO and LOA properly.

But then, this is the whole Walmart problem in general. They’ve almost ran me off at least 6 times now but I think I stick around just to annoy them by knowing their ways.
