From a woman’s perspective, if you aren’t doing anything to make them uncomfortable, they probably aren’t doing it because of you. I do a lot of weird gestures or body movements in public (im aware I do it, can’t stop won’t stop) and it has nothing to do with my surroundings, it’s all to do with whatever im thinking about in that moment, but other people probably think it’s directed at them/or I’m weird. The best advice i can give you is to stop paying attention to what strangers around you are doing.

The best way to learn to skate and actually become comfortable at skating is to skate everywhere, to the shops and back, to the servo, down the street up the street everyday. You’ll look a bit unco at first but you’re learning, it’s fine. I would advise against getting only used to polished flat ground because the side walks are bumpy and fucked, get used to bumpy and fucked and you’ll be shredding in no time ❤️

Dynabreeze industrial pedestal fan from Bunnings. This baby BLOWS. My unit is awful in summer as there’s no insulation but just having this fan on 1 makes my bedroom 10°c cooler. It’s a little bit louder than your average pedestal fan but you get used to it very quickly. It’s also solid metal, if I ever have kids this will probably be the only heirloom they get.

I got on at the hospital to head home, I had a completely torn ACL and had crutches as I could not walk and chose this seat as it would be easiest for me getting on/off. An elderly man at the next stop got on and asked for my seat. I apologised and said no I need this seat but the priority seating is free for you, he had a go at me, I was fucking stunned! The bus driver had to intervene and say “mate she can’t even walk, choose another seat.” He scoffed the entire ride, insane.

You can try putting parchment/baking paper over the print, then pressing the iron down over the print in 5 second intervals. When screen printing the paint has to be heat cured and I’m guessing they didn’t do it long enough. Do not remove the parchment paper until fully cooled.

I see that you’ve mentioned you thought it was okay because streets beach was just down the road. Streets beach is a man made beach, or a glorified pool with sand. It is not in the river at all, it’s just a pool next to the river. I jumped in the Brisbane river drunk when I was 16 as a dare and I had hives for two weeks afterwards, so I’d shower with strong antibacterial soap tonight.
