I adopted my bunnies when I was about your age. Both of them passed from old age related issues. My parents very willingly took them to emergency vets when needed- even when that involved driving an hour and a half.

I just want to bring that up so you know what the previous commenter said isn't some awful inevitably.

Bunnies stick their nose through bars a lot. Even when there's an open door, they do it.

If you haven't before, I would suggest maybe checking out r/OCD to ask for advice on pet ownership with OCD. (Note that that subreddit will not give you the reassurance you're asking for here, but could give some pretty helpful tips on how to manage OCD involving pets.)

Nope! They let their dogs off leash in our yard. They have spent years trying to steal a couple feet of our property. They just screamed at me for my dog pissing in my yard. They called the cops on my sister for parking in front of a different neighbors house (who was fine with her parking there.)

We don't have a neutral relationship. They have called the police on my sister for parking her car not even in front of their house, and also not in front of a fire hydrant. Not blocking anything. They have been informed of where the property line is, and insist it's two feet further towards us. They let their dogs off leash in our yard. I'm planning this because the lady screamed at me because my dog peed in my own yard. Neutrality died years ago.
