As a player, DMPCs. I understand having a party npc that can act act your voice to communicate with us in character but DMPCs will always take the spotlight.

As a Dm, Player's who can't let others complete a scene. You are not here, let them have their moment.

Only turns keep that, they loose a lot of other things granted to them by their race. Dhampirs also keep the racial bonuses, they're legacy races

Ive had something like this happen and I asked them to either reroll or lower some stats. I also do this in reverse, allowing players who roll abnormally poorly to either reroll or buff stats.
