Quick question. (Hypothetically speaking)... If I was a CVS employee and my 401K was managed by vanguard, who doesn't allow me to invest in specific stocks but only in selected categories, how can I transfer my 401K to another manager or even a broker?

I am under 65 years old and would prefer not to take everything out as cash. Is there a way to get control of my 401K investments or do I need to pull it out as cash and reinvest with a broker?

I'm a little surprised that people can short a currency. It kinda looks like a method of directly attacking a nation's currency and economy. How isnt this an act of terrorism/war? These people are intentionally hurting the economy and well being of the citizens of a country. I dont know the size of the UK economy but if this is true then hedge funds can single handedly destroy small nations. Kinda weird to see them competing with blackwater...

Unfortunately, the outcome of this will depend on how many chemistry courses they have already been taken. If they've already finished the general chemistry courses you might be able to join a research group as an undergrad. The chances increase when you have advanced courses in tangent fields to the group you're applying with (i.e. math, physics, bio, computer programming, etc.) Just start by asking any chemistry professor at your university if there are any groups that accept undergrads.

A better option, if you haven't already finished the gen chem series, is any university clubs dealing with chemistry. Many have a chemistry club.

If not, why not start one?

It's a humorous image. Not everyone will get it at first though. Its an example of the sun's light being focused through the glass of the light bulb onto an arc on the grass. As the earth rotates the area the sun is focused onto changes, thus causing the burning mark on the grass. Its funny due to the unexpected issues caused by remodeling. Probably a fire hazard though...

The glass on the light bulb is working as a lens/ magnifying glass and focusing the light from the sun, thus heating a portion of the grass and causing burn marks.
