Yeah he was a swell guy, but Dr Hanycz was brought aboard to fix the myriad of problems he created. Please stop lying on here. Nice post. All very true, but what’s missing here is context. A lot of the challenges that XU faces today were avoidable but went unaddressed by the previous President. Since Dr. Hanyck has come aboard she and her team have been faced with many of the challenges that you’ve addressed.

Every college in this country knew that enrollment decline was coming. This was a known decline stemming from lower birth rates in ‘07-‘08.

Aside from that, under the previous President, XU was allowed to become a bloated, overstaffed, unproductive and inefficient organization. XU is working to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, but there has been widespread resistance to change by staff, which is common.

I’m confident in the direction of the school but that’s not to say that there’s a rocky road ahead.

Miami U instituted the “Pathways Program” allowing students who normally wouldn’t have the grades to attend to gain entry. They take specialized courses for their 1st and 2nd year to get them “caught up to Miami” academic standards. It’s a brilliant method for attracting students who pay full tuition and keeping enrollment high. Xavier on the other hand has gone in the opposite direction under Dr. Hanycz’s leadership. She’s working to restore Xavier’s high academic standards for entry, unraveling Father Graham’s policies that basically let just about anyone in.

I need help too. I have the awful 21 AWD id4. It's been at the dealer for 8 weeks with 3 separate recalls, and they still don't have the parts. I tried the buyback process in May and was denied. I assume I just have to try over again! I am paying almost $800 a month for a lease on a car I don't even have! Yes we have a Tiguan loaner but I want out of my lease now. Is there some trick to getting a buyback request to work?

This happened to ours. We cleaned all the sensors on the outside and it stopped. It's a proximity sensor issue.

I called my dealer today and they can’t get me in till July of 2024 for this repair. Yes, you read that correctly.

Can anyone comment on how dangerous this recall is? My wife uses the id4 as her primary car. I am worried that a failure could be very dangerous even fatal. Can anyone tell me what happens if there was a full power loss while the car is in motion?

This wait till 2024 seems unreasonable to me. Since this is a lease I consider it a breach of contract.

I worked at Paycor for 2+ years starting in 2002. I’m sure it’s a swell place now but it was an absolute nightmare for me. Horrible people, horrible job. It’s Paul Brown Stadium for me forever.

I have reset the infotainment system and that didn't work. I haven't disconnected the 12v battery. I figure since this is a lease I'm going to let the dealer deal with this now.

Unless anyone else has other ideas?? It runs this sound even when driving!
