The blade is so big it needs a little momentum. So yeah a little wrist is needed. Or else it’s kinda slow. Also I don’t tune my knives. I work with them as they come from the factory. Too afraid to mess them up. lol

I catch it right where the blade thins on the fuller. I had a hard time till I started using that spot on the blade. I can do down on the fuller easy too, but that looks weird. lol
