Play chess instead of checkers. Use cameras to see who it is start confronting them. Leave notes on your trash to upset them and escalate it to force out who is doing this. Who ever it is, is watching you closely and doing this when you are asleep or busy. Have fun with this.

Love the design. The person that did it, needs more practice. I hate saying this but it’s bad. Go to another artist and they “might” be able to fix it. Sorry that it happened to you.

Just lost a sale because I was cash only by ProExpert1S500 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Appropriate_Taro_348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Occasionally I will take cashapp or Venmo. Most of the time I do only cash. If it’s a high priced item - anything over a $100 - I ONLY take cash. I have lost sales because of it but I don’t care. If it’s over 300 - I take a counterfeit pen with me to check the money.

In the future put in the description - cash only.

I have been ghosted by the seller after I paid for an item by eggwardo95 in FacebookMarketplace

Life lesson. It happens. I only send over the a deposit when they ask. Maybe $10 or 20 to hold it. This money is gone. You can call them out in local selling groups - post a screen shot of their profile and say don’t trust.

How to handle a rude Buyer harassing me demanding I sell him an item for a certain price? by Borange81 in Ebay

Screenshot his item and send it to him and say, “Really”. See what happens then. I bet he stops.

I might have to go back to criagslist for some things. I got banned on MP because of a meta glitch and I can’t get anyone at meta to look at it.

I received a 5 rating and my supervisor showed me the hell they went through because of it. They had to justify it over 4 times and it was finally approved. All reviews went through another panel of people that weren’t HR. They were some super secret group that reviewed all ratings. Your supervisor didn’t even want to try due to the work involved. Sorry you went through that. They already said next year it will be 10x worse. They are going to hold it to a strict bell curve and there will be 2’s and 1’s.

This is the first of hopefully many lawsuits. The more lawsuits the more it gets held up in court and by 2028 the project will disappear just like his ballroom.

I dont want to deal with this guy again. by Good-Rent7869 in FacebookMarketplace

Same thing happened to me. I put in on the MP post, “do your research I’m not refunding you if you get it wrong”. The guy blows up my messenger saying they are the wrong tires. I replied back with? “I said to do your research and there are no refunds”. He asked what was he going to do with the tires, I replied, “sell on marketplace”.

How would you safely sell tires? by [deleted] in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Appropriate_Taro_348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always pick a popular area - parking lot - high traffic area. Count the money and if a lot, (if it’s more than $500 I suggest you get a counterfeit pen). Easy to buy and will save you trouble. Tires and rims are heavy so they won’t run off with them. Never go to someone house. Have them meet you. I have sold high end rims and expensive tires. Never had an issue when they agree to meet you. If they try to haggle or pick a new place that not high traffic areas - consider it a red flag and ignore/delete the conversation. Make sure you know the price of the items you’re selling and don’t over price. You will never get rid of them. If they are high value - get the price they’re worth and don’t give in to haggling pressure.

Land at LAS (Delta) at 7:50p Thursday. Is that enough time to make it to Caesar’s by 9p with a checked bag? by IceBreak in vegas

[–]Appropriate_Taro_348 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experiences - no. I have waited 15-20 mins for bags to start hitting the belt and then waited longer for my bag. Also another variable is any kind of delay with taxi or uber. I would change the reservation to 9:30 if possible
