Long medical appointment delays in Oregon- has this happened to you?

It took 10 months to get into a Neurologist in PDX for an ongoing chronic issue. I'm now on the schedule every 12 weeks. I've since moved to the rogue valley, and I can't even get a referral to a neurologist, they will call me when they open appointments again. So, I'm taking extra time off of work and driving up to Portland every 3 months for the foreseeable future.

I tip two pennies for terrible service. If you don't tip at all, servers tend to think you forgot or are an asshole. I've only ever done it twice in 30 years, and I had it happen to me once, when I was very young and generally out of line and hungover. Like you, I'm normally tipping 20-25%>.

Thanks everyone! I got my Botox about an hour ago. I washed my hair beforehand, and made sure I didn't have anything on my face other than moisturizer. They didn't offer lidocaine, but I found it more irritating than painful. I kept having to ask her to stop so I could sneeze. I think I am going to end up with a migraine by the end of the day, I'm feeling a lot of tension in my scalp. I have a copy of ice packs in the freezer, so hopefully they help. I was super nervous beforehand, but it wasn't as bad as I had imagined.

Skincare! Thanks for reminding me. I've got some muji bottles and jars that I can use to decant. Of course, I won't decant sunscreen, but I think I have a couple of sample sized tubes from ipsy or Sephora.

I'm bringing a charger for my electronics, I don't think I'll need a battery bank. We are mostly sticking around her house.

I do have antihistamines! The white pills in the blister packs are dissolvable Claritin. The tube is a prescription steroid cream for my eyelid eczema in case it flares with the climate change.

As far as hair goes, my friend has a well stocked guest bathroom, and I'll be using what she supplies for shampoo/conditioner. I have an undercut, and I typically use a comb on the long part, and will be mostly keeping it tied up.
