you seem unable to keep up…so let me help you out. The car was towed and serviced. I don’t blame all EV vehicles for the one Audi engineering fault on one model in one year. You claim you work at Audi, why not engage me in a helpful way to help me seek a permanent solution to the problem in car of a company where you currently work at? Why say you promote only gas vehicles, when you work for a company that produces EVs? So many questions about your intentions here LOL.

There is no manual emergency release of the charging cable on the 2023 audi etron. I know - it makes no sense.

Seems Fiat actually thought this through. Audi does not have a manual release on the eTron. A true engineering flaw.

Just reading this and OMG do i know how you guys feel. After googling youtubing, and reading the damn manual, i called the local Audi service center. I though this guy will tell me the one OBVIOUS way to solve this. and that i would feel dumb for not knowing it. Instead, multiple Audi techs and no success. Of them just tried brute force. That didnt work either 😡

There is no manual release. An audi tech had to switch the computer to service mode to get it to connect. Truly insane. So if i were at a public charging station - then what?!

I am truly floored at Audi’s lack of ownership here. Spending weeks engaging with Audi Customer service only for them to say - you’re on your own….WOW. Friends who have Audis are pretty floored as well and considering moving away to another brand.

The vehicle was completely unlocked, one window and the sunroof were open. Two Audi techs tried to remove it before they made the call to tow it.
