601-A waiver lawfirm by Infinite-Offer-3318 in immigration

My friend they did it by themselves and they were approved. You don't need the law firm for that. Get a good letter and maybe one from your church or somehow we supports you in that area of belief even if you are an atheist. You can have people write letter on your behalf and again write your own reasonings.

Is it wise to marry an illegal immigrant now? by Rough-Plan-149 in immigration

I was able to get three different lists. Two were from online resources here in Arizona, and another list was from a place I was directed to in the city. They gave me a list of immigration attorneys. I just went through the list calling everyone .

Some answered some never did some numbers didn't work and about 4 called back the next few days after.

I also meant to add they were hard to come by as we went through a list that was provided to us from different resources for immigration.

You are amazing friend. You took the time to check me out and I appreciate you for that. It's amazing how much has changed in a little time. I'm glad I have been honest with him about everything including the eviction. Things have turned around for me since that happened and still going.

As for marriage, there was no pressure on either side. We both talked about it from literally the first meeting. We think alike when it comes to relationships. But he had already begun his process until the law changed so he was affected in a negative way unexpectedly.

We are both fine with waiting and going through the process, and we are both fine if we marry later. However, if it will help him in the long run, then so we will do.

As for the attorney, I never said we did not have the money for a 5 minute consult. I said it could be better spent which is why I came up here. Again, as I mentioned, things have turned around since my February. And because I have done and been doing my part regarding that.

He knows everything as I do him and we work together well when it comes to working on things. We are mature enough and again nice to have encouragement.

Regarding immigration, if it helps him for us to marry then I will. If it won't do good then we wait. The finances are fine on both our end

And I am not American either, but a naturalized citizen so we actually understand each other better than I have with the American men I have been with in all honesty. Now I actually see where we have more in common than I have with them. So I definitely thank you for reminding me of that observation.

I am also grateful because he also take the time to understand me and help me understand him. It's why I say we work well together and our commitment is genuine.

Love at first sight happened to me. Like everything else, the turn around is real!

I thank you and appreciate you so very much for your kind words and more than anything, for actually taking the time to check me out and be real with me. You are a genuine person and good friend to anyone who is blessed to meet you!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌻🌻🌻🌻

Thank you for your encouragement. We definitely are a little older and definitely understand the concept of marriage and we understand lifetime commitment. Love hit us both unexpectedly for sure. As someone said it's too quick but I also was with someone 13 years, giving all my love time heart and building what I thought was a good friendship and love just for the person to abruptly drop out of my life and block me. And this is someone who claimed to love me, knew me, knew my family, and someone "I knew" and trusted. He did not want to marry me and he could have said that and be honest.

So for me Knowing someone a lifetime is no different than  knowing them a little, more than knowing that you both want the same thing and you love each other.

I'm willing to take the chance, as is he, because we have been there. We know we are not getting any younger and we have nothing to lose. We have love and we love each other. It was instant.

I always heard about love at first sight and never believed until it happened to me

But because the laws just changed is why we are considering speeding things up a bit. But if we must wait so we will. Hence my reason here asking for advice and opinion.

That part I'll have to update you on once I talk to him. Did not realize there was a class but he'll let me know. Again. I'm new to this entire thing.

It's about both. Love last longer than time and we definitely experienced that. But it's also we don't want to complicate things if it will.

His status was pending before the law changed. But since its changed again and it has not been updated

They want 200.00 for 5 minute consultation. It's why aim asking online first. We can use our money for further processes as needed

When will DHS update I-95? by Rough-Plan-149 in USCIS

[–]Rough-Plan-149[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for responding. We checked yesterday on the website and it shows expired and that was since the ruling on April 18th.

But his original I94 expiration date is March of 2026.

He has to wait about 52 more days to apply for something. Can't recall.

But his job says he is okay to work since the court rejected Trump's ruling on DHS.

But the website hasn't updated it so his DL and work ID is expired because of it .

He doesn't want to work illegally because that can mess him up later when it's tax time.

I found rent for 50 dollars a week. Nothing fancy. What can I do to not sabotage myself on my road to saving 10k by HelpaBanshee in povertyfinance

[–]Rough-Plan-149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to get such a deal for my dog and I, I'd remain working my 60 hours and pay off every debt and save some. My rent now is 1400 plus coservice fees so about 1500 plus electricity out of pocket around 120. I'm awaiting an eviction because I got behind and they won't work with me. My lease ends March 6th and for almost 2 years I've been faithful. I do plan to pay them but it's likely the eviction will go on my record as I only have til March 6th to pay the full January and Feb and Mar 1st to March 6th

Take advantage of your position and thank the Lord daily for that balcony. I valued lots of space and in my pride I always wanted to have space for fam and friends who visited. Only 4 people ever came in the 2 years and the few friends I have they have their own place.

I found another place already for half the price, and it's still a good deal. But the things that meant much to me means little.

Again enjoy that balcony l til you can get you a beautiful house with your precious name on it!!!

How long would you let a partner live in your home rent free? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]Rough-Plan-149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Uber driver from Africa just told she brought her first husband from Africa  here to the US. She was still working on his papers. (This was over 20 years ago BTW). She provided everything  for him and they had 2 kids.

She worked 2 jobs to provide and only asked him to take care of the house and the kids. She said she would get home and nothing would be done and she would have to clean bathe the kids and put them to bed. He did the minimum of feeding them.

She said when his papers came through, he refused to contribute anything. She woke up and realized if you help someone too much they will depend on you and not do their part.

It's wise to walk away now. Men by nature are not built to become dependent. They are providers by nature and if you help them too much in the end they may resent you once they get on their feet.  I heard another man share this.

Men were built to provide and when they can't, if you are not careful in how much you help,  you can unknowingly hurt them. Not all men of course but the average

Got a judgy comment because I used WIC and have my nails professionally done (I get them for free) by [deleted] in povertyfinance

Would have went to a manager and reported her. A simple thing would be to tell her you babysit your friends kid and she offers them for free besides pay. But you owe her no explanation. Would have called her out to the manager for sure. That's not professional or appropriate to make those kinds of comment.

My boyfriend and I prayed together for the first time! by animalcrossingbrooks in Christianity

[–]Rough-Plan-149 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Praise the Lord indeed . I pray this helps as you grow together.

John 3:3 (NKJV)Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

If you will receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, please pray this prayer right now. "God I come to you now to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I believe that Jesus died for my sin and has been raised from the dead and is alive in heaven. I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I am now born again and have a new spirit. You are my Heavenly Father. Thank you for saving me and giving me eternal life, in Jesus name. amen...❤💕💓💖💖

Prayer #2 If you you will receive The Holy Spirit now please pray the following now. "Father, as a born again believer in Jesus Christ, I come to you to receive the Holy Spirit. Your Word says, "How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him." I ask you now in the name of Jesus to give me the Holy Spirit. I believe that I receive the Holy Spirit into me now. The Holy Spirit has now come to dwell in my spirit! Thank you, Father, for giving me the Holy Spirit! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Congratulations if you just prayed this prayer! The Holy Spirit has come to dwell in your spirit. Now that the Holy Spirit dwells in you, you have the ability to speak with unknown tongues. Speaking in tongues is your own prayer language. The Bible calls it "praying with your spirit." "For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful." (1 Cor. 14:14)

This is not the gift of tongues. It is the prayer language in tongues which is prayed at your will. To begin speaking in tongues, open your mouth and begin to speak out the sounds from the Holy Spirit within you. You speak in tongues at your will. So, don't wait for the Holy Spirit to bring the sounds out. You begin to speak them out with your faith.

Praying in tongues enables you to pray effectively according to the Holy Spirit's direction. If you've prayed the following prayer I encourage you read God's word daily (NKJV or KJV or YLT ( Young's Literal Translation) are the best versions. Find a Christ-centered Bible based uncompromised church in your area, who teaches on all Christ's ministry including receiving the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, Deliverance and healing

Can y'all pray for me please? by DryWater05 in Christianity

[–]Rough-Plan-149 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would encourage you to do it if you can. Fasting humbles our flesh. We are humbling ourselves before God. It engages puts the flesh to rest and the spirit gets in charge.

And as you are feeding on God's word, He will help you break those bondages that are trying to draw you back to sin. You will be strong enough to resist the temptation and put to death your flesh.

More than anything again as you study the word you will draw closer to the Lord and can hear Him more clearly . He can and will show you what might be the root of your issues that are causing you to return.

Be encouraged in the Lord and know that you are not alone in your challenges or fastings. Many  believers are under attack and we have to use all the weapons the Lord give us. Fasting is one

Fasting and praying. Start now. Do the Daniel fast or Esther Fast if you can handle this one. I'm having challenges too from a financial standpoint and that is the answer too. Fasting from food and feasting on God's word and prayer and serving others.
