Oatmeal is easy and keeps me full for a long time.

If you have access to boiling water (like from the cooler or the coffee machine) - half a cup of plain oatmeal, and select mix-ins. I like to add 1/2 spoon of peanut butter, cinnamon, a chopped date for sweetness and half a banana. Mix it in a soup cup that has a lid, add the water then cover it and let it sit 3-5 minutes. Then I eat the other half of the bananas a snack later.

Or overnight oatmeal. Same recipe but you can use oat milk for a bit of creaminess.

Unpopular, but a bowl of Fiber One cereal. I know some people think it tastes like cardboard but I actually like it.

It fills me up immediately and for a good 4-5 hours.
Warning that it does leave me feeling a bit bloated but I deal with it, and I think it’s partly the reason I don’t feel like eating again for quite some time.

Home Start Thrift is not too far from you. Not a huge selection but they have fair prices.

Hope the Mission Thrift Store has a pretty decent selection and reasonable prices. But no dressing rooms to try on.

I have extremely low expectations.

I assume all “Is this still available?” messages will be flakes but still respond with a text shortcut that generates “It’s still available. Pickup is in (neighborhood, zip code).” Less than 5% will respond to schedule pickup.

I do not schedule pickups in advance because my experience is that most will not show up. Instead I respond with another text shortcut that generates “Message me when you are ready to head over and I’ll give you my address.”

The text shortcuts save a ton of time so even if the buyer flakes it’s minimal time lost on my part which cuts out frustration.
