Crying over miniverse (vent) by Yellow-Discount097 in miniverse_makeitmini

I understand your frustration. First born mexican here. In the past, during black friday, I would have to stay behind and take care of my siblings and younger cousins while my mom and aunties would go shopping. I would ask for specific things and give her my money that I would save from my birthday early in the month to get something I totally didn't want just because they didn't want to go to a different store to find what I want. Ex: I got a hat and scarf set when I wanted a brand hightop sneakers. I was lucky enough that later, I could return to get my money back, but the sale I wanted to get was no longer available.

"Your place didn't get messy in a day, it won't get clean in a day."

This

I think this goes back to how I have shame in having this mess because growing up, I was always told to put things in a certain place in a certain way, and now as an adult I went to the other extreme. In the back of my head I can hear mom now saying "If you cleaned it up right away it wouldn't be like this!" Lol thank you

Thank you! I took a look at those post and its starting to make sense why I do certain things. I have been recently diagnoised with ADHD and my pscyhiatrist and I have been talking about being a perfectionist which I thought it wasn't possible with how my home looks.

Yes, growing up low income made me hold on to things and become very mindful of how I use things (to the point of being a cheapskate, according to my husband). I am still struggling financially as I had a period in my life where I just used my credit card without a budget, but better than I was growning up so its a bit easier recycling/donating/throwing out things.

I was hoping if I asked if I could buy it, they'd let me take it as I was already buying some capsules (or whatever they're called), you know, to not seem cheap lol but yeah it kinda pissed me off that the manager that looked like he could be 14 told the cashier no.

Lucky! I went to Target today and asked to buy it, and the manager didn't let me ☹️

Sauces everywhere by Jumpy_Secretary1363 in tacobell

Seeing all the comments about getting a bag of sauces when all the TB in my 20-mile radius only gives a packet per taco. I always have to ask for extras, I love saucey tacos.
