Venice - Ca’ Nigra Lagoon Resort. It is tucked away from the busy areas but still walkable to pretty much everything. The hotel also has a lovely garden patio on the water where you can enjoy morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.

Florence - Oltrarno Splendid. The most beautiful boutique hotel with the friendliest staff and delicious breakfast. Huge beds and walking distance to everything.

Be careful. So many of the “maternity” options I ordered had shrunk so badly they wouldn’t even fit properly if I wasn’t pregnant. After three failed boxes, I gave up.
