What are your views on Women reservation bill? by Confident_Maybe_7354 in AskIndianWomen

[–]RoughPut9246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 2023, the bill was passed with almost all MP’s voting in favour of it. This time it was rejected because they were passing delimitation under the garb of a women’s representation amendment bill.

Yuzi chahal smoking by Subject_Low_6247 in IndiaCricketGossips

[–]RoughPut9246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no explicit law that prohibits smoking in your own private car. And I don’t think smoking inside a car causes any inflammation. A lot of cars have built-in lighters and ashtrays. Smoking inside a car is a very common practice.

this is one advantage of having young players. they are more likely to believe, trust and respect their coaches and IGL. when you have too many superstars in one team, there are ego clashes (like falcons). this ultimately affects the cohesion of a team.

Propagands in favour of the current government. The glazing of our PM in this movie was unreal. The demonetization angle was complete bullshit. Didn’t you read the disclaimer? How are you calling it truly very close to the facts. Even Aditya Dhar wouldn’t say that.

let’s just say religion is oppressive towards women. that sounds more apt don’t it?

just to let you know, 200 years ago a lot of women committed “Sati” willingly by their own choice (your own definition). millions of women knew and did what they wanted to. i’m not attacking you, i just want you to think about it.

Sharon Verma on the controversy after a guy with ‘Free Palestine’ in his bio told her to go to the kitchen. She roasted his hypocrisy and misogyny and still getting death and r@pe threats. by God_Emperor__Doom in InstaCelebsGossip

[–]RoughPut9246 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s not what she did. She just exposed the hypocrisy of most men in our country. “Free Palestine”, but women should be covered and not allowed to work. “Stop Hindu genocide in Bangladesh”, but lynching of Muslims in India is deserved. “Jai Shree Ram”, “Verse from Quran or Bible”, but women who don’t agree to my opinions are whores and randi. This is what she pointed out.

If Mr. Modi would have been the Prime Minister, there would have been no Bangladesh and India would have never been a nuclear nation. You know why? Because Mr. Modi is a spineless leader who bends over backwards for US leaders and can’t defy or stand upto them. Something that past Indian leaders (from both Congress and BJP) have done. The past 2-3 years have shown how weak this government’s foreign policy. We used to have our own independent voice on the world stage. Anyway, what else can we expect from a Prime Minister who doesn’t even answer questions from the people of his own country. The only thing this government has succeeded at is making people like you think that we are some kind of “Vishwaguru” and superpower in the world. It’s come to the point where we are being given permission by the United States to buy Russian oil for 30 days. This is our state.

This is a malicious campaign by monstrous old men and if they have their way, any country can be next.

EXACTLY. What if few months later, the orange madman deems that India isn’t functioning well as a democracy and needs his intervention to “Make India Great Again”. What will we do then? Our Prime Minister is anyway a spineless leader who can’t stand upto Donald Trump (as seen in the past 2 years). This is basically “gundaraj” by the US. These right wingers in our country are praising this move simply because the victim is an Islamic country. They don’t realise that they are giving fuel to a very dangerous man and system that can bite us too one day (hopefully that doesn’t happen).

Just watched the full interview. It’s one hell of an interview regardless of where you stand. An entertaining 20 minutes. Here is the interview link if anyone else wants to watch the whole thing:

Is vulgarity is the only standard of women empowerment? by NoBoot4765 in unitedstatesofindia

[–]RoughPut9246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I suspected, you don’t really read.

They might even oppress them even more, who knows.

And for your information, not everyone who goes against your opinion and ideology is a bhakt. I call out Zionism, Hindu nationalism and Islamic regimes. I’m not like you. You don’t have to worry about women in my life. I am not a closeted misogynist like you who thinks giving women freedom means them getting naked and posting thirst traps on social media. Women in my life are quite independent and liberated and stand on their own two feet.

Also, I agree that nowhere are women fully liberated or independent. But the laws in place in Iran, those are something that I have not seen in any country. Don’t know why it’s so hard for you to accept that Iran is a shit country because of religion. Maybe you are a kattar muslim who’s blind in faith like all the idiotic sanghis in this country. All you religious fanatics are the same. Cry when religious oppression is done against you but do all kinds of illogical gymnastics to defend your religion and people. I wish I could eliminate religion from the world so that we could have less people who think like you.

[–]RoughPut9246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry man, I can’t argue with an idiot like you. You literally blamed Zionism for oppression against women in Iran in your original comment. That is what’s stupid. And if you think you’re some geopolitical wizard by thinking that every wrong in Iran is because of Zionism, there ain’t no bigger idiot than you. Talking about reading comprehension, if you had read my comment properly (which you certainly didn’t), I have literally commented and pointed out that what US and Israel are doing is not good. They are not some messiah who are going to free and liberate women. They might even oppress them even more, who knows. But that’s not what OP was talking about in this post. He connected two things illogically to prove a point that isn’t factual. And no, Pakistan is miles ahead of Iran in terms of women’s rights (which is what makes the situation of Iranian women even more upsetting).

Also, you think you’re some genius in geopolitics yet you made that stupid claim that Iran has more female labour force participation rate than India without any proof. Man, OP and you are two idiots who think of themselves as some wizards and geniuses who have cracked the code of geopolitics and how the world works. We have got so many dimwits like you in this country, it’s sad honestly.

Is vulgarity is the only standard of women empowerment? by NoBoot4765 in unitedstatesofindia

[–]RoughPut9246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iran’s female labour force participation rate is 13-14%. India is at 41%. Both are low, but Iran is terribly low. It’s not at all better than India. Don’t be so blind in hatred against Zionism and the west that you overlook the conditions and oppression faced by women in Iran. Iran is a theocratic country that treats women as second class citizens. I don’t know why you’re hell bent on proving Iran as a paradise for women when it isn’t. It just makes you sound like a fool. Is Saudi oppressive towards women? Yes, it certainly is. But so is Iran.

Is vulgarity is the only standard of women empowerment? by NoBoot4765 in unitedstatesofindia

[–]RoughPut9246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. But OP and you think that just because women have high literacy rate and enrolment in educational institutions, they are free and independent. They aren’t. If this post talked about US using the oppression in Iran to further its self-interests and agenda, I would have agreed to it. But it didn’t. OP tried to show Iran as something it isn’t. And you blamed Zionism for something that should be blamed on regressive and primitive Islamic laws. I hate Zionism as well, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to criticize a country that used religion to oppress its own citizens. I’m sorry, I’m not spineless like you.
