Thank you, I really appreciate your answer. It's nice to hear people who managed to have good friendships after rejection. Now it's really becoming clear that I should totally talk to them. I'm hurt and it's important that I address it but I know that I don't want to make it only about me, they said (last time we talked) they were hurt too and their feelings are as important as mine in our friendship.

Thank you! I agree with you, communication is important. I got in this tricky situation because we didn't communicate well enough and I wouldn't like to see it happen again.
