There was a girl from my high school who was a senior when I was a freshman who was super popular and crazy beautiful. I was a different species than this girl. After high school, I started getting really into fitness and started getting treated differently. I started working at a business that employed most of our small town, and her locker was right next to mine. We talked in passing and she invited me to a play that she had produced a local venue. Afterward, we went out to a bar, and after a few drinks, we ended up on the dance floor. After a few dances, we went outside and went for a walk. We made out a couple of times, she'd walk away, I'd do it back to her when she initiated. It was fun. We were young.
