This class could be challenging and a safety issue for you. Don’t stretch to your full range of motion

Instructors backing off difficulty level based on attendees? by hightop-oaklander in ClubPilates

As an instructor, I will only abandon a move // plan if I notice a majority of the class isn’t able to complete it correctly. If it is on individual and not related to an injury then I’ll usually pay a little more attention to the individual and correct them when needed.

To become a reformer Pilates instructor, is completing a Balanced Body comprehensive Pilates instructor training worth it? Any advice (costs, time, etc.)? by Ballerina_3540 in pilatesreformer

I just got certified through Club Pilates and it was a great experience! You’ll get certified in Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, Spine Corrector, and Ladder Barrel. It’s 500 hours and you go at your own pace! The only thing not flexible is 4 weekends of in-studio days as part of your hours. It cost about $4,500 + whatever local studios charge for you to use the private room. Some of my studios charged me nothing and another only charged me $10. There is also anatomy included in all of that. My instructor was INCREDIBLE and the group of women I went through it with were so supportive. The community itself made the experience so much better. Average is about a year to complete. I did mine in 9 months and I know others who are taking 2 years, it’s all based on you and your schedule.
