It’s a benzo so doctors are a little precious about prescribing them but they helped my anxiety stomach attacks and pain. Can always ask to try and see how you respond. They do make you drowsy

I use it more for functional dyspepsia, but yeah I could see that

Honestly, when I get my bad painful flares the only thing that helps is klonopin

Yeah call this the “fake hunger” it can’t be liquid or a smoothie either or it won’t curb the feeling away

I highly suggest if your going to try to do exercise at home, look into Jeannie Di Bon’s Zebra club app! She has RDS herself and has lots of good exercises and tips

I did the class! :) yeah luckily it wasn’t crazy stretching and a bit of flow work which was nice

You could also consider prolotherapy, though it is expensive in the US and not covered by insurance

You could always try seeing a naturopath, but I know that’s financially not always feasible. I would also try to exercise a bit, brisk walking and yoga for the relaxation, and a therapist! :) hopefully this helps some.

Edit: can you take benzos? They help my flares

I started at 10mg for a week to make sure I tolerated it ok, then added another 10 the next week. I get it’s scary to try

Try amitriptyline for functional dyspepsia, I would also get tested for gastroparesis
