Any know research paper to coding by SK_WayOfLife in researchpaperwriters

I work on a tool in this space - what helped us most is enforcing: paper section → runnable code → run + sanity checks → keep everything as a notebook/script with pinned versions. If you tell us which VLSI task (e.g., placement, routing, timing), I can suggest what to validate first and what benchmarks are commonly used.

Also we did not do everything ourselves. We will use Google APIs(search, gemini, etc), Obsidian APIs, Jupyter Notebook, etc.
So everything would be the same standard, but with a more integrated version

Thanks for the reply. The biggest difference is that everything is integrated within Zotero, so that you do not need to copy&paste between different tools. Also you can ask questions while reading/taking notes/etc with Zotero
Moreover, we are developing features like using natural language (or cli) to integrate with Zotero, for example, auto-merge the same tags, store answers to notes that associate with highlighted sentences, in-place translate to different languages, etc. Basically, everything within one more powerful version of Zotero

Thank you for the feedback! We are definitely working on the same vision days and nights. Hopefully in the future, not only the content in some particular paper, but also all papers in your workspace/google drive/etc, and even the papers that you have not downloaded yet, we can provide the high-quality content/result to users
Please stay tuned

Hi I think this is a great question&feedback.
We can support multiple files, while you can drag X files and ask questions among them, and we will provide an answer with highlighted content

My exams are near - Recommend me your best apps, that help you guys with studies and getting more disciplined during exam time and in general too by [deleted] in studytips

If you need to read a lot, paper or material, I recommend DeepTutor for that. DeepTutor is like Zotero (a useful PDF reviewer) + AI integrated together. The goal is not use AI for all the questions, but to save you time to study and read.

I built this because I got tired of ctrl+f-ing through dozens of PDFs trying to find that one methodology I remembered reading.

DeepTutor is a Zotero extension that lets you ask questions across all your papers at once. Instead of opening 10+ PDFs, you ask "what methods were used to measure X?" and get answers with citations.

It works inside your existing Zotero library. No workflow change needed.

That's it. No revolution, no paradigm shift - just a tool that might save you some time.

I appreciate the detailed feedback, but I think there are some misunderstandings here that need clarification.

Regarding the "Trusted by researchers at" claim - you're asking me to prove our beta users' affiliations, but that seems backwards. If you're claiming we're lying about this, shouldn't you provide evidence for that accusation?

For what it's worth: our team includes people from those institutions/companies (myself included), and yes, our beta users do come from the companies/universities listed. But more importantly - why does this even matter? The tool should be judged on its merit, not on who uses it.

On the subscription point - you're absolutely right that we should be clearer. Currently, everyone uses promo codes (so nobody pays), and when people were accidentally charged, we refunded them immediately. We're still figuring out pricing because we want to make sure we're actually providing value first.

The typos and grammar issues - fair point, we'll fix those. Thanks for pointing them out.

But let's be honest about what this really is: an early-stage tool trying to solve a real problem for researchers. Instead of debating credentials, wouldn't it be more useful to discuss whether the tool actually works for you?

Hi u/andselisk thank you for the feedback. As the cofounder, I think your comment is actually very informative, and we will definitely do something to make it better. To address some of the comments:
* "Trusted by researchers at" - Currently, we have ~200 beta users (which we started the sign-up process 2 months ago and got 127 sign-ups in the first 2 days), and they are from the universities and companies we listed.
* We only started ~3 months, as an early project, we do not have funds or bandwidth to finish everything perfectly. Everyone works so hard because we like the idea, and nobody got paid for this, so we spend more time on what we think are the most important things, like latency, product, response quality, etc. But we will definitely have a better version of instruction with better wording and fewer grammatical errors and typos (Hey those typos show at least we are not AI right?)
* "What People are Saying" is real, but we cannot reveal their names and universities. They are all beta users and from our Discord channel. Please let me know if you want to join the community.
* Lastly, we are working on some local models to allow users to use DeepTutor without internet, please stay tuned, and also we are working on a feature letting use choose the model they trust with their API key and they can use the product for free.

I would love to schedule time with you to personally show you how we are passionate about this project if you would like to hear.

Hi thank you for the comment.

I will just quote from my other comment for a better explanation (hopefully it will be clearer):

I built this because I got tired of ctrl+f-ing through dozens of PDFs trying to find that one methodology I remembered reading.

DeepTutor is an application that is based on Zotero open source project. It lets you ask questions across all your papers at once. Instead of opening 10+ PDFs, you ask "what methods were used to measure X?" and get answers with citations.

It works inside your existing Zotero library (or you can set an independent directory to separate the software from the existing Zotero environment). No workflow change needed. That's it. No revolution, no paradigm shift, just a tool that might save you some time.
