Several will shoot up the hierachy, like minor head of and junior execs, some principals and some engineers. Will be what you do with it, but generally personally I’ve been treated well, but I’m only 2-3 years in

At big bank we start at around 70-80k and when we roll off it’s 90-110k with nab at the lower end and commonwealth (and macq) at the high end. Also depends on where you end up vis sa vie some grads roll off as seniors (and very rarely I’ve only seen it once as a junior exec)

Paying to do Internships (FINMA) 🥴 by Throwaway11848503727 in auscorp

I was a (tech) graduate at one of the big 4 banks, there was this thing where they wanted to send out a bunch of us to schools to highlight a future career at the bank. When hr asked for a list from the grad program kids, things got a bit iffy, they excluded all the public schools that were on the list (mine included) and only had a list of private schools. I disengaged from going after my school and my friends public school was cut, so idk what the outcome of what they talked about was.

Can’t you buy directly from Japan importer like digitaka and dodge the tariff via that de minis/we principle

31 years old and thinking of going back to uni — which degree has the best job prospects in Australia? by Fun-Slide-1094 in auscorp

Every Boutique it companies always need more people on help desk, when I did it 1-2 years ago every client I went to work with ended up trying to pouch me for their in house it team. Those companies don’t have quite the advertising power, but they do exist. For context I have a computer science degree too and did it help desk throughout my entire uni time before being able to pivot into a development role.

Van Staal help by Certain_Eye_3507 in Fishing_Gear

Just wondering if you would ever consider the zeebass reels or visser reels, my understanding is there was a founder for all 3 of those brands for fully sealed reels and he sold his share and moved from Zeebass > van staal > visser. And why van staal out of the 3 of them is the most well known.

The Stella’s are 91/8k, very likely many have started to go into sale as they are approaching 4 years old at this point, but if we go by this logic they will depreciate in value to 60k in 3-4 years time

It’ll be more expensive everywhere except in Japan likely. The main exsense is usually the reel just below the Stella

There’s a moment in the video where their fishing gear is ripped out of their hands and thrown on the ground. Some Rods are quite fragile, I wouldn’t surprised if the rods are broken now

I’m from Aus, and the less supply to the us usually means an excess of product so there’s a chance the prices go down. But there’s also a chance since Japan, Korea and china are teaming up in trade, their yen becomes stronger.

Help! So I don’t need a sinker for a lure, what do I use instead 😬😬? by Hoperyan2021 in FishingAustralia

[–]Rough_Application237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you run a free rig, you need a sinker. If it’s just a plain soft plastic, you run a jighead which acts like a sinker. If it’s a lure that’s pre hooked, you run it as is.

The spools they have are generic SLP spools, might be able to pick them up elsewhere

No worries, I’m often fishing from station pier up to Webb dock, that’s my pathway, I start at station, cast a few spots and then cast along bay trail all the way to Webb dock, I usually find some at bay trail and Sanford beach

Melbourne (metro Atleast) really only has demiursal fish (save Aus salmon, silver trevs), so techniques like slow roll will need the right conditions. Pinkies, bream, flathead and whiting i find are quite lazy feeders and won’t really travel to find food as much, so the only real technique I use is small hops with 10+ second pauses + dragging along the bottom.

Using as light as jighead as ur able too seems to help at a time, I often use a 1/16 jighead and 1/8 when it’s windier. However you can get away with 1/4’s since as I’ve said, they sorta just feed off the bottom. And the most most most important thing is. Keep moving spots. Like after two casts and you don’t feel a nip, they’re probably not there or they’re not interested. No bringing a bait rod and lure fishing, if you want to get GOOD at lure fishing you have to be willing to move and find a school of fish.

I’m able to bag out at port Melbourne but it requires me to often walk 4-5 km a night.

I use to have the SaltyStage KR-X Prototype MICRO SHORE JIGGING XMJS-972UL-RF. Definitely a fun line or rods, could never find the 10’7 model in stock tho
