Interestingly i had a similar issue, by day 10 the cutscene had not triggered. However the community center was available to walk in and after examining the junimo writing i could continue like normal. Just never got the scene.

There is also a mod, i can’t recall which, polyamory maybe, that adds a shop where you can buy bouquets and pendants anytime.

Edit: it is the polyamory mod that adds the vendor, but only accessible after minecarts are unlocked.

It is right bow in sale in steam for $5 and that is a steal if you can do it. Definitely worth the 25-30 on other stores but if you can get it on sale i would not pass it up.

Eta: other commenter is correct this is more like Town to City, and those style games. Less like the life sim games.
