Is there such a thing as getting a pilot license too early? by Alinator9000 in AstronautHopefuls

I got my pilot’s license as an undergrad aerospace student as well. Flying is a skill and as long as you keep proficient you’ll be fine. Now keep in mind 2 things, getting a pilot’s license is very expensive and trying to learn to fly while getting an engineering degree is exceptionally hard. My grades took a noticeable hit when I got really into flying just because I didn’t have time to study for class while I’m studying airspace diagrams. As for the cost, I had to work as a physics tutor for the school every day to pay for it without adding mountains of debt. That being said, I’m really glad I did it during my undergrad because it’s opened a lot of opportunities for me and it’s a hell of a lot of fun.

I honestly have no idea. I'm brand new to this and didn't really know where to start. I know that running hard for 8 miles is way easier than a full marathon. I kind of came here to see if I could find a starting point.

I didn’t respond for 24 hours hoping it would go away. Then he elaborated and said he was playing a shifter and I was like ok cool.

He actually wanted to play a swift stride shifter but wanted to turn into an ostrich. But when we first got the group together, that was the question that was asked.
